Need the help of anyone else who's got one of these opened...

On the chromed pipes on the side of Rodimus's forearms, there are various spots that are missing chrome. It looks like they were chromed and then cut from the sprue, which leaves a few ugly black spots.. Just checking to see if that was normal.

That's probably normal. The sprues are chromed, and then the parts are cut, so you're going to wind up with those marks.

It's normal. Same effect is seen on most parts of modern already-assembled figures, but here it's so glaring because it's chromed.

Unlike modelers, factory staff\machinery that assembles transformers do not touch up sprue marks, sadly.

Cool, thanks. It looks fine, but I know what I'm looking for, so it does just glare out at me. Will look fine on the shelf though.

You can touch up the places it was clipped from the sprue with silver paint and it won't be immediately visible to the naked eye.
