Me and my son are having trouble with the stage where you have to bring down the Imperial Starship. I played that level for over an hour trying to bring it down but to no avail. Do you have to destroy the tie fighters before the Starship gets back into position? Because I seem to start over whenever the tie fighters come around. HELP!!

I play it on ps3, dont know if its any different on xbox or wii.

 

You want to destroy the fighters as quickly as possible. You can grab one with the force and throw it into anther one and I think force lightning works on them. Its been a while since I did it so I don't remember it exactly.
After destroying the fighters move the sticks as indicated. I think you have to do this a few times before it actually comes down.

The fight can be buggy sometimes. I've gone through and actually found the stick sweet spot was not where indicated. You may need to play around with it a little.

 

Yeah, that's a pain in the ass. Just kill the TIEs as quick as you can, grab the SD, and move it as the game indicates. You'll probably still have to jiggle it around when the sticks turn green, though. When you hit the right spot, the game will indicate to yank the sticks down. Do so, hold them down, and do so until the TIEs are about to shoot you.

And the instant you let go, it will start going back to normal position.

For as much as I didn't like the game, that part took me the longest to beat.

 

damn ive only played the PS2 version so far and thats not in it lol now its a necessity to get it for my 360  

 

I picked it today for the PS3. Ugh, what a disappointing game. I'm stuck on a freaking jump that I cannot make. I think I died like 35 times already. I fear getting to the Star Destroyer.

Though, it pretty kool that the Vader's apprentice is that guy from Battlestar Galactica and the Mist.

 

Man I loved that game, but that level was a BITCH!

 

And he's Doomsday in Smallville.

 

Is the jumping as tough as those on Ninja Gaiden? I hate jumps...I so suck at them!
