I am trying to hunt down this Nemesis Prime.

    http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=12417

And I was wondering, how does one go about getting one of these? Show up early? Wait in line? Buy one at Comic Con? Let me now please.

Also, how much are tickets going for comic con? I wish to go on Saturday or the following sunday.

    How do I purchase tickets?

    Thanks.

As for tickets you need to register here:
    http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_reg.shtml

But I never been to comic-con before, so I don't know how nemesis prime will be sell, I heard it will be sold at hasbro's booth.

Really? Damn. Is there a Pre-Order for one so as to not have to go all the way to San Diego?

Last year's SDCC exclusive alternator Hot rodimus was on sale on hasbrotoyshop.com, on the day of comic-con, but it was sold out fast, very fast.
I'm not sure about this year though.....

If you're going, you'll want to get there as early as possible. Like get there at 6 AM ish and get in line. Even then if the booth is anything like last year it will be luck of the draw as to the 1st people that get it. They were giving out tickets with a certain time to come back on the ticket last year and some people drew really sucky tickets and had to wait till the end of the day and subsequently missed out.

Oh my, comic con sounds even worse when people put it like that. I hate first come first serve type of events. Especially when San Diego is so nice.

Man, is that gonna cost me a pretty penny?

    Ebay:
SDCC Alternator Nemesis prime and SDCC Rodimus both ended up on ebay for around $50-60. The convention sells them for around $25 so it's not like you'll have to give your left arm for them or anything on the after-market. Plus there'll probably be a bunch of extras coming out of places like Malaysia.

Then again this new Prime could end up like the SDCC gold-headed Destro that's fetching $200+ so who knows...

    Ebay:

Those are already sold out Botcon Exclusives.

The secondary market is your only option now.

Well, if you are going to Comic Con, depends on what time you get to the booth. Hasbro has a certain ammount they will sell each day. I had a friend go for me at like 2 in the afternoon on Saturday and he got me Alt Rodimus, But tickets for one day are lik 35 dollars so thats like 60 dollars there, so it might not be worth it to go to Comic Con just for the figure. If you want to see the other booths, then its so worth it.

If you did attend comic con, you should bring a lot more money than you think….I am absolutely positive you’d find something more that is just as cool at another booth that’s only available there. I make that mistake year after year.

I’ll be getting the 4 day pass taking a friend (who doesn’t collect tfs) and attempt to pick up at least 2 Nemesis Primes a day (if there is a restriction on them at the event this year). Plan on only selling them to fellow board members who want them. May eBay 2 for a little extra….but I’d only ask cost + shipping for board members.

I would gladly pay you for the cost of the figure plus an extra $20 for your time and trouble.....plus shipping of course.
