Just bought a Black Arcee from eBay and received it in the mail today, now, the small rod that holds the left foot in place came off and now the foot won't stay on. How do I fix this? Does anyone have a spare black arcee leg? Haha.

Is this the sort of thing that "putting the pin back in, with a dab of epoxy or super glue" won't fix?

The pin doesn't have enough leftovers to stay at all, so glue would limit any movement and there's not enough to stick.

Well, if the plastic part is broken, and chunks are missing that cannot be re-glued, I dunno what to tell you...you'd have to either fabricate a new part or swipe one from a purple arcee.

If it's just a missing or busted pin, you might be able to replace it with a small metal rod or a clipped-off nail. Just take the heavy wire cutters to a roofing tack.

...Or you could always just sell me the remains. I want a black arcee! :lol

Well, looking at it again, it'll be a few hours till i can post up an image, but you can't really see it. All it is is that the pin that holds her foot and heel dislodged itself. Since it won't bridge the gap, the foot comes off.

Well, if you can't get an exchange....seriously, get a nail or something that is approximately the same circumference as the shorted pin, then estimate how long it would need to be, and clip it off with a pair of wire cutters or a dremel or something like that, then push it into the pin hole. Friction should hold it in place without any problems. Replacing a factory too-short pin with something longer shouldn't be a difficult repair job. :)

Well, the pin popped out, and I just realized the plastic around the foot area is just jagged and almost melted.

Yeah, thanks everyone. I did use paypal, and I've spoken with the seller personally, we had lunch and I offered not to break his legs, so in return, he'll fix my arcee's leg.

I'm just joking about the whole lunch thing, hehe...
