If anybody out there could help, I'd appreciate it!

After not having transformed my Powermaster Darkwing in years, I tried to transform him recently. I have Throttle and I placed him in his slot and the cockpit section just wouldn't swing back. I applied a good bit of pressure, but I don't want to break it.

I did a little more investigating and I think that the two buttons that release the cockpit no longer have any 'springyness' to it. I even made my wife hold down the two button while I tried to pull back on the cockpit and that didn't work.

Has anybody else seen this? Any Advice? If I unscrew the figure, could I see what the problem is?

    Please Help! Thanks!

Thanks though, but it looks like the cockpit section has to pull back before I can spin the body....

Take the screws out. It could be many things. When you open it, keep it screw side up and take it apart. That way nothing falls out. Not a hard fix but you would have to open it to see what it is. Commonly it's caused by stressing the inside parts and they are bent slightly so they do not move properly. By opening it you will see the problem. If you run into problems LMK

I'm not fond of raising the dead, but I REALLY need to ask: Does anyone know how to fix Darkwing's pop-up head mechanism? Mine is suffering from this

Keeping this zombie thread looking for fresh humans to eat...

My Darkwing head is also stuck. WD-40, no luck. Any other suggestions?
