Hello, I've been looking around for threads on tightening different types of joints, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I want to tighten one of my HA Soundwave's hip joints. It's not super loose but I'd like it a bit tighter to afford more poses. Problem is, it's one of those huge pins, exposed on one side only, and it's on thin piece, which makes me afraid to screw too much with it. I saw references to using "future floor finish" but I'm not too familiar with the product (and don't know what its local equivalent would be - is it some kind of varnish for wooden floors?).

Here is the pin in question, inside the red circle:

And the backside: as you see, you can only see the pin on the other side and there's no way I see to disassemble the piece.

The pin seems to rotate with the leg, not the hip. Any advice is welcome.

You could try a soldering iron to heat up the pin and squeeze it a little tighter together.

Or you can get those long tips for zap a gap glue and dab that I between the two

You mean use glue to widen the gray pieces instead of the pin itself? That might work...

    This is good advice.

If this doesn't work, you'll just have to junk the figure. I can pm you with my address for a figure donation :D
