I just got 2 Takara buster primes, with and without mask.
The maskless first-release one has the white flame outlines (body).
The masked 2-pack one has classic masked look (head).
Opinions will differ, but I would prefer to have the body of the first-release with the 2nd's masked head.

I'd like to have your input on how to swap the heads before I do it. Haven't even transformed the figure once, though I briefly removed the screw on the back of the head. Nothing changed, as if the 2 pieces of the head were glued firmly together.

For those that have done this headswap, what's the best way to do it? Is there another place/part to focus on?

    THANKS for your experienced advice...

The head halves are not glued, but they fit together very well. After removing the screw, simply pry the halves apart.
