So I have a Voltron sitting here and sure enough he toppled over snapping the head clean off the black lion. It's not a clean break, which sucks, and I haven't had much luck with the loctite glue keeping it in place.

    Is this a lost cause?

yeah, I had the same thing happen to me. A "butt" joint is the weakest thing to glue. i was luckey in that only one broke. I glued it and i'm very careful with it, yet it broke again. the thing i'd recomend is taking the thing apart and very carefully laminating some very thin styrene after you glue the parts joint back on. you may have to file the opening a little to account for the thicker part, but thats the only way I could think to fix it. Does that make sense?
it's in a very weird spot, and it's super weak after it's broke.

Uhmm.....out of curiosity, if you do consider it a "lost cause", what are you going to do with it?

Yeah everything you just said to me is way over my head :)

A lost cause = selling it in my world. I have another Voltron that's complete (except for the red plastic piece on the back of black lion's head) that I'm content with. Only thing is the green lion and the green lion head don't match in color.
