Ok, so the shelves are getting a bit crowded coincidentally at a time where the Transformers: Prime show is just boring the hell out of me. I also am fresh out of Botcon which rekindled my want to continue to catch up on classics, and increase my MP collection.

So, long story, short: I'm thinking it's about time to let the prime line go. However, I don't want to be bothered with running to the post office every other day, so I'd rather just sell as a lot. Here's what it would have in it:

    Takara:

    Voyager
    - FE Optimus Prime
    - FE Bulkhead

    Deluxe
    - FE Cliffjumper
    - FE Vehicon x4
    - AM Skywarp

    Hasbro:

    Voyager
    - FE Bulkhead
    - RID Megatron
    - RID Optimus Prime

    Deluxe
    - FE Cliffjumper
    - FE Arcee
    - FE Bumblebee
    - FE Starscream
    - RID Cliffjumper
    - RID Wheeljack
    - RID Ratchet
    - RID Arcee x 2
    - RID Soundwave
    - RID Bumblebee

So, what do you guys think the value of the lot is?

I'm gonna say 400.00 EASY. The Takara FE OP Prime an the Vehicons alone are alot of $$$$$

Edit, you said opened? Ok I'd say 200- 250.

$400 was what I came up with too... and I don't think that boxed/unboxed for the FEs and Takara pieces is going to matter in the pricing.

The real question is, do you have a price in mind yet? That's the issue I run into in my store all the time. People come in wanting to sell sports memorabilia and want me to price it for them. In most cases there is no book value for what they are trying to sell, so I always tell them "whatever you are willing to part with it for..."

Obviously you have some pieces on both sides of the spectrum. The FEs and Takaras are worth big bucks, the PRiD stuff is still on the street, so unboxed they are worth less...

On a personal note, I'll trade you for a Red Falcons TJ Duckett jersey, mint...

I could see it all go for $500 to $700 IMO?

Honestly, I can't see 400, because the Prime, Bulkheads, and Vehicons alone could snage me more than that.

Self-pricing, I was seeing more towards what Bumblebee was saying.

Honestly, that's really all you are selling, the PRiD stuff is still readily available MOC in every toy store and big box out there.

Funny enough, I just did the same thing. Of course I didn't have any Takara figures but I did stop at PRID wave 1. Anyways, $400 seems about right but I think $350-375 will probably be the magic number.

No... I'm "really" selling everything in the lot. As said, the FE Voyagers and Vehicons are worth more than 400 alone, so adding the price of the rest of the FE deluxes (we'll say 40 a piece), and even pricing the Rid deluxes at 10 a piece would put it to where bumblebee was saying.

Even if your low-balling it you'll get close to $600.

Opened FE though. That's the thing that would be the downer in your situation. Yes your FE Vehicons are rare an expensive , but the new ones on the shelves that are ( better ) is the hot thing right now. I highly dought you'll get 70-80 for your opened FE Vehicons when you can buy the better versions sealed for a quarter the price. No offence.

Exactly. I just priced it at 610.

And I lowballed it low. I priced each FE voyager at an even 60 instead of the 80-100 they sell for. 60=180, and lowballing 50 for each additional vehicon is another 200. So, that's 380 alone... 400 is mentally insane.

Well, thanks. I don't really want to make crazy profit, but I'm just a person who'd rather not sell at all than let myself get ripped off at the same time. Here's where I'm looking at it:

    Takara:

    Voyager
    - FE Optimus Prime - 60
    - FE Bulkhead - 60

    Deluxe
    - FE Cliffjumper - 40
    - FE Vehicon x4 - 200
    - AM Skywarp - 30

    Hasbro:

    Voyager
    - FE Bulkhead - 60
    - RID Megatron - 15
    - RID Optimus Prime - 15

    Deluxe
    - FE Cliffjumper - 40
    - FE Arcee - 25
    - FE Bumblebee - 25
    - FE Starscream - 25
    - RID Cliffjumper - 10
    - RID Wheeljack - 10
    - RID Ratchet - 20
    - RID Arcee x 2 - 10
    - RID Soundwave - 10
    - RID Bumblebee - 10

    Total - 665

And, this obviously wasn't what I paid for it in the first place, so no matter what, I'm losing money. Stupid money. Stupid money that could have been spent on things I don't want to sell right now. But, by the numbers, 400 is not even doable.

Oh I didn't see the x4 after vehicon, guess that makes sense now.

Still, I am curious on what the market thinks of those FE Vehicons since the community seems to agree that the RID version is superior. Also, $25 for the FE deluxes are also might be a little too high - especially that bee.

Then sell them separately and make a mint. You seem to be missing an important point about selling a lot. The less desirable stuff cuts down the value of the more desirable stuff. Yes those FE voyagers and vehicons are really valuable right now. BUT your saddling them to PRID figures anyone can get with minimal effort, and maybe has. So your effectively cutting the value of those desirable FE figures in half.

Honestly, I'd be happy even knocking it down to 640 or so just to kill off all of the little "this should be 5 dollars cheaper" stuff, but my main point was that it's not anywhere near 400 bucks, and just showing people that I'd actually put math into it rather than being argumentative, because I made the thread for opinions and help, but some of the suggestions were incredibly low, ya' know?

    This. Makes. No. Sense.

I cut the value of the PRID figures down, and even cut the FE figures down as well... this. Makes. No. Sense.

Well, ebay seems to have the lowest one at $75, and the most expensive one at $98 buy it now. The completed auctions would say about $50 - $110.

So yeah....what TJ is asking for is really low balling himself.
