I am looking for forearms like the ones in the attachment below that would be the same size as the Primus arms that everyone is using for combiners..... Any one got any ideas? Even knowing what scale Gundam would be a close comparison would be helpful. (auroscope I think you answered this once but deleted the e-mail you sent.....Sorry)

    Thanks

Guess I should have posted this in the other thread you had, but the closest I think you're going to get for combiner hands would probably be 1/60 scale. And if you wanþ the intricate fully articulated hands like the picture, you're gonna have to pick up a perfect grade kit, which aren't exactly cheap... I know the cheapest one is going to be toe initial run of the wing zero (the non-pearlised version)... If you can find it. Good luck, cause ebay will probably be your best bet. Good luck to ya bud.

I don't recommend getting any Gundam 1/60 forarms for your combiners
unless you want a very humanoid flavour to your combiners.

Here is a pic of a 1/60 Gundam Exia, the forearms are skinny.

Do you have this particular Gundam kit? Any way we could see size references between this and Primus/Unicron.

    Thanks again

It is 22.27 overhere, but I am in a good mood.. ;)
So here you go, pictures made with my Iphone.

Unicron vs Primus vs 1/60 Exia

    Even unscrewed them for you

If you are making a small combiner use the Exia, otherwise go with Primus. A combiner with a lot of voyager classes needs the Unicron.

But the detail/ guns on Primus are the best IMHO

    Good luck :)

    Nice, but now.......

thanks for those pics. The 1/60 scale arms look very puny and humanoid. So again one begs the question........ how do these arms in the original post compare size wise? I know they are larger, but by how much? we need pics for comparisons like the ones above! Anyone????

The set you are referring to is 1/35. The one in the picture is 1/60
You could calculate how much bigger they are....
The 1/60 is 10 cm from top of finger until the plug you see in the pic
The Primus arm is 16 cm.
