Useles with names i'm afraid, but it looks good whatever's it's called. The hands are particularly good, because they add a sense of proportion to a figure; those Gundam ones work really well, they sit proportionally with the head, and make him look pretty hefty overall - "bigger" than the movie Ratchet toy seems, if that makes sense.
It might actually work, as long as you're okay with the Cybertron Defense thing they had going on back in Cybertron. It could be CD Windcharger. Slight stretch of the imagination, but anyways... ____________________________________________________________ I'm really tempted to say Flareup for some reason...Or Firestar... j/k I like Backdraft. Is he a firetruck, ambulance, hummer h2 or something else in alt mode? If he's either of the first two, call him Black Saturday.
Love the name for a new character, though my nerdy side feels obligated to point out that Inferno and Red Alert never really made a logical team. Inferno is a brawny rescue worker, while Red Alert is a paranoid security director. Their alt modes are sort of irrelevant in that sense. I was thinking that too, though it feels like he needs more white in that case. He still TOTALLY says Inferno to me, though Backdraft is a cool name. On the other hand, he looks so much LIKE Inferno, it seems weird. Like maybe a "Backdraft" should be a firetruck of a different colour? Makes sense to me. I concur 100%. I'm not big on the proportions of the Ratchet figure normally, but the slight changes you've made here make a BIG difference. He looks really cool! zmog

It's hard to come up with a decent name without any sort of personality traits. But this guy looks tough. Well built.... Brickhouse? Rockhound? Rockbuster? Rocktimus Prime? [Okay, that last one's just for s**ts & giggles].
