i know this is a KO but of what?
remind me of topspin ad twin twist a little
I don't believe these are KO's of any known Official Transformers.
I don't recognise the designs at all.
Maybe they're from another japan robot line.
Definitly not transformers though.
They are originally toys of Japanese robot anime,"Brave Exkaiser".
Left one is Dash-Max(yellow car).
Right one is Drill-Max(black drill tank).
Original toys can combine with Sky-Max(blue jet) to form large robot, "God-MAX".
Totally looks G1 style and would've been an excellent addition around 1985-87.
These have shown up in the US at Big Lots stores, individually carded and around $4 each. I haven't seen them in a while though. Note there is another one you do not have here.
Should look G1, I believe Brave lines are by Takara
Yes, Brave is what Takara started making in the 90s when Transformers were less popular.
Fun observation, the Da Garn series of Braves and the 1992 Transformers share a lot of design cues, the two groups (Turbomasters and Landers, for example) fit in real well together. Definitely had the same people working on the toys for both at that time - the similarities in the styles like for the light piping is uncanny.
