Where can i buy styrene sheets. Also does anyone know a good airbrush i can get at a low price? What are good paints to use? Also any other info would be nice
You can get styrene at local hobby/Art stores. Look out for architect students. HornetHobbies - The Buzz starts here!!! Advance Hobbies - Your R/C & Model Kits Hobby Shop in Toronto Canada Wheels & Wings Hobbies - Welcome Evergreen Scale Models You can also check the yellow pages for plastic suppliers. They usually aren't as pricey as hobby stores. TAP Plastics Good airbrush? Low price? Can't help with that. You can get cheap airbrushs, that use cans of compressed air. I don't know of anyone who would recommend them, though. Most everyone would recommend getting a compressor. You'll have to try these on your own, because this depends on your working style. Most around here use acrylics (Tamyia or Games Workshop). Enamels are also widely used. Some even use automotive or hobby spray paints. A few customizers only use sharpies on their customs, though most only use them for detailing. Have a look at the Tutorials. Lots of Information there. Much more than could be explained in a ingle post. Also check other modeler sites (for planes, cars, Warhammer40k, ...) and the sites of the customizers around here (Jin Saotome for example) Just do it. Gestalt
