having the reissue fairlady brothers so readily avaible and cheap, i'd just get a new reissue, or find a junker lot of ebay and swap out the parts.

Could you throw up a picture or two of the damaged area? I think I know what you mean, but I'm not 100% sure.

At any rate, getting a cheap junker with the part you want and using that to fix it is probably the best idea.

Post a pic of the broken pieces. Who knows, perhaps you might be able to glue it back together or perhaps drill and pin it back together as well.

your question has been answerd. you need to swap out the parts with a junker. there is to much pressure on that joint to just glue it back. it's the same case with G1 mirage, but he was much more suseptable to breakage.

Your question was answered. You have to find a junker and swap out parts. The only other thing you can do it post a pic of where he is broken but I highly doubt the answer will be any different.

My origional G1 Prowl snapped off sort of at the waist as well (and the sirens snapped off too). I lost the lower body. It could be repaired if I found a junker but I decided just to get the re-issue. The only thing I've considered doing is swapping out the head because the origional is more detailed. Same goes with Jazz who I only have bits and peices of the origional (the head, a few doors).

if you want to fix it, you have to replace the part.

Replacing the part is the easiest solution. Even if you could somehow repair the broken sections, it would never be the same again, and it might break again in future.
Swapping out parts with a junker is the easiest way round this one.

    perfect solution.

Sell it to me, then you won't have to worry about whether or not to swap out a part, or just repair the old part. Problem solved.
