I'm trying to find info on some old toys I had waaaay back when I was like 5 or 6.

Basically, they are micro machine sized vehicles that transform into robots. I think they may have been made by Majorette.

One was a black fighter jet with neon pink and green details, and the other was a purple big rig with neon green and pink details.

    That's all I remember.

What year are we talking about here? I have no idea how old you are... Are you certain they weren't Micromasters? They could have been Micromaster KOs.

I don't recall anything like that, aside from Micromasters.

Have you tried looking through Virtualtoychest.com? They've got a lot of data on older toys, found tons of stuff there that I forgot I owned as a kid.

Sounds VAGUELY like the cheap-o drug-store micro bot set from the 90's (made by the same company that did the Car Tank and Jet all with Sunstreaker's head)...except that the details are all wrong :/

need more info or pics.....but that's probably what you're looking for too ;)

    1990-ish.

It's not those. I also have the ones you're talking about.

The ones I'm describing are SMALL. Smaller than Micromasters. As small as Micro Machines.

Okay so I found one tonight while rummaging through some old toy boxes.

It says ROADCHAMPS 1989 on it (where the robot's crotch is).

Photos taken from my i Phone.

Tom, This is the main line they were from, but the one in your picture had a different sub-line as its name. I can't remember if they got packed in with a small pack of regular cars or if they came in their own small multi pack. For those of you who have never seen these, they were sold at some toy stores and drug store/pharmacy and independent type shops.

I am pretty sure this was the line they were from but I think the transforming ones came on a purplish-green card with blue letters...but don't hold me to that. Would have been purchased by Netkid and I in 1989, 1990 or 1991 approximately.

    Thanks Bro,

Nah, the purpleish-green carded guys where the Sunstreaker-headed knockoffs I have (the car, tank, and jet). They came in a box that had a peg hook to hang on store pegs. CVS used to sell them.

These little guys I'm discussing are marked 1989. I gotta find the black jet, he looks way better than the truck guy.

The weirdest thing though is I only remember having 2 guys, the truck and the jet. I would REALLY like to know if there were any others. These things are Micro-Machine scale and fit in great with those vehicles.
