    Help IDing:
all the non-transformers in this lot that arrived (for $10 US plus shipping!) yesterday. I imagine most are Gobots, what about that weird big chunky guy in the middle and the 'pinball bot' at the front? They're all marked bandai 1982-85 or just 'made in japan'.

www.tfu.info can help you find out which ones are tf and which ones are gobots.

Well, I can help you narrow down your search for the Gobots. There are only four that I was able to positively identify:

Blaster (he's the green and tan tank, bottom left next to the pinball bot)
Night Ranger (he's the blue and black motorcycle next to the red and yellow truck twins)
Treads (he's the blue-green tank in the middle just above Blaster)
Waterwalk (he's the plane in the upper left)

See the link above for more info about them. Hope this helps.

I know of those three red and yellow guys. I've no idea what they are, but I know they were little cheap toys that were sold in smaller shops in about 1985. I couldn't tell you what line, though.

thanks for the ids, especially on the 'Converters'
I know the transformers thanks, I can usually tell gobots but don't really pay attention to their names. The ones in here are in nice new condition though. So that leaves that big blue and red thing, wtf is that thing?

I had that pinball machine thing when I was kid. Damned if I remember what it is though.

There's a couple of damn Valkyries in there!

Also, that's where that blue eagle came from. I actually had that one as a kid.
