OK, so I have this mad idea to customise an Animated Swoop into a character for a photocomic I'm slowly working on. The colour scheme will be based on this figure, and like Arcee it will be a female character. Therein lies the primary problem. I would like to make the figure look a little more feminine without making too extensive alterations. Currently I'm thinking that the best way to do that would be to remove the shoulder blades and chin, but I've never tried to remove parts of a figure before.

I suppose my main question is how do I remove those parts? I'm on a fairly low budget, but suspect modelling clippers and files probably won't be enough (I play warhammer so have those already) but can't really afford much more.

Also, any general advice people can provide would be highly appreciated.
