Okay guys, after I while I've decided it's stupid for me to frequent a site and not buy the toys I gawp at every day so I'm treating myself to a modern era deluxe. Considering I stopped collecting just before ROTF (got some stolen Chinese scouts) I'm tempted to try and complete the Classics Seekers (I have Startscream and Skywarp) however I already have the mold so I want to know (in your opinions) the best Deluxe since before ROTF and I'm guessing it'll be a generations figure ;)

    Cheers guys

    Generations drift
    united jazz
    united tracks
    generations wheeljack
    Generations thrust
    generations scourge
    generations darkmount

if i'd have to choose 1 i'ds ay: united jazz, but then i always liked jazz as a kid

Saying that I have had my eye on Skullgrin. Also, vague as I may realise this is, I like the kind of figures you can just sit an fiddle with rather than give your full attention to.

RtS Wreck-Gar. Hands down my favorite in the line. So much fun to fiddle with and transform. Although...Kup is pretty badass in his own right. And the balancing acts that Blurr and Drift can do on one leg...should account for something as well.

Since before the ROTF? For me, it's probably Universe Dropshot/Overload. Super fun to mess around with and pretty cheap on the boards as well. Post-ROTF? Probably RTS Jazz

Before ROTF? I would say the best deluxe would be the Lambo mold. Sideswipe is my fav of the two brothers.

Best Deluxe from -before- ROTF? Uh, I like the Club exclusive Dion a lot. Universe Cyclonus is pretty cool. But you mention Generations, which came -after- ROTF

My favorite new stuff is Jazz and Wreck-gar. These figures are nearly perfect in my mind (Warpath probably will be too, but my order hasn't come in yet so I can't say). Skullgrin/Darkmount is great too, and Terradive is pretty cool

I love when people ask someone to suggest one thing and people post giant lists.

    The answer is Generations Wheeljack.

If you have neither mold, I'd get the Battle in Space 2-pack. It's cheap (less than the normal price of two deluxes), includes two great decos of two awesome molds, and can be found practically anywhere. Not to mention the bonus comic and Matrix.

    Good pick.

The deco on Hot Rod is a bit assy, but you get all the extras you mention above AND a sweet little Targetmaster. It's a nice package for sure.

    Wait for Wheeljack or Warpath.

If you can't wait, Wreck-gar or Kup.

Or Scourge, he's fun to fiddle with.

Have you considered Universe Onslaught? You can track him down loose on the Junkion or even on eBay for a reasonable price. I know he's an Ultra, but he is my favourite figure ever and I can't pass up a chance to try and get people to buy him.

    Mirage all day long

he is fun to transform, fiddle with and one of the most dynamicly poseable figures to come out of the universe classics line before ROTF

If I had to pick one deluxe figure, I would pick Generations Scourge. Both modes are fantastic, the transformation is not too simple and not too complicated, just fun. The weapon storage is an added bonus :thumbs2:

this^ by far my favorite deluxe out so far (warpath hasn't arrived yet, but i kind of doubt he will take that spot)
this is also a good choice, cyclonus is an awesome figure, hotrod is ok as well, but i like his older deco better
