Hey again got another question. I remembered as a kid playing with some sort of helicopter toy that looked a lot like Whirl, but in my opinion much better. I think he was black too. No, it wasn't the Super Gobot Apache thing, it was some other line of transforming toy's.
Anybody remember who/what I'm talking about? I'd like to find him again if possible, though not high on list of wants.
Right now, I'd just like to remember where it was from.

Helicopter I'm speaking of look's like it's supposed to be a Hughey Attack Cobra.

Its possible it was from the Dovrack anime, and the original toy Whirls is based on which would be the Ovelon Gazzette Heliocopter Mecha.

I have never seen one so i cannot say for sure if that is what you remember.

This. The original Takatoku Roadbuster also had a pilot.

Definitely not. It really did look more like a Hughey Cobra, black or similar dark color. It was for sure not a Gobot or a Transformer but it was a very cool helicopter and very cool robot.

    Fixed.

I compiled a want list back in December of Gobots I wanted and and are collecting and i didn't see Twister.
his bot mode resembles my Machine Wars Sandstorm, but the colors are better (well, the orange is iffy.)

so thanks, one more GoBot to the list!

:D  Anything to make people spend money. Cuts down on the chances you'll buy something I want.

Umm... Whirl got a new mold in the Universe line, repainted from Rotorstorm. That wouldn't happen to be it, would it? Or were you specifically talking G1 Whirl?

Edit: Same mold was used again for Machine Wars Sandstorm.

Definitely not. I don't think it was from ANY Transformer or Gobot line.

I have some black die-cast helicopter from the 80s, I got it in a TF/Go-Bot lot. It's skinny like Whirl, about G1 seeker height. Was the one you're thinking of diecast? I can dig for it this weekend.

Hi there. The one I'm thinking of I believe was plastic. What I think you have might be a Super Go-Bot Apache helicopter named Warpath I think.
The helicopter I'm thinking about had no ties to Transformers or Gobots, but it was another "transforming" toy and was similar in style to Whirl. Plus, I believe it was black in color, looked like a Hughey Attack Cobra chopper, and as said plastic.
Feel free to post what you have though, could be it.

Dude you have jacked this guys thread twice, that's not cool bro.You need to start a thread in the wanted section to post what you are looking for.

OP,I remember having a similar transforming helicopter like what you are describing, but for the life of me cannot remember the name of the toy or the line it was from,my mom might remember, gonna ask her next time I see her.

It is a Convertors of what he was taking about, just that he did not recognized if it’s not black, and if I know Mark was the only one that recolored the original Ovelon Gazzette in its henkei type in the last wave of Chopper which was his name for the Convertors.
