    Couldn't find/afford a ROTF Onslaught so....

TFCC Heatwave. Still haven't combined him yet!

Dyed Plastic, full bag of Dit Powder Pearlescent Gray and quarter bag Forest Green Acetone combo, for like 15 minutes. Came out almost a dark purple. But it's fading in the corners where I am wiping it. Trying to make the plastic shine more though. Overnight the harsh stains magically disappeared with some light brushing and thinner wipe kinda.

Tried to get the Missile Launcher Pod shiny, I'd like chrome somehow but, that ALsa/Mirra paint is way spendy sorta.

I will try to present to you, my first custom ever and radicon debut:

    TFCC Heatwave/Barricade/Onslaught.

Very nice, you going to use him in conjunction with the fansproject sets or as a regular combiner?

It really says something about Fansproject's influence when it's easier to get a Botcon exclusive than a toy sold at a major retailer.

    Fantastic custom, though.

I wanted to remove it to paint, it had a screw for the light piping, but was still on a metal pin, I didnt want to break him because Ive never successfully (yet) taken a limb off a hinge yet!
I'm gonna check out Jarugar, thanks man!

Well said, hard to get hands on this guy! This figure is fantastic though, besides the exposed head and all it's small negs.

Ya Storm, absolutely stunned by the FP kit when I seen it, had to get them. Just got Explorer and Munitioner like 2 days ago in the mail! And the other linmbs I have are Swindle, TFCC Landquake, and Decepticon Reverb! Might do a paint on Landquake for the Brawl Military green style, but, I like the transparent red. And I gotta remember that's why I got him, and not paint him.

    ROCK ON!!

    Thanks EX!

You could always make Blight have a meet with some blue dye, so long as you keep an eye on him he should come out a nice shade of green if you found one for a good price.

You couldn't afford one figure so you used a more expensive one?:peoples:

I got landquake for about 30 bucks shipped, I think I'm gonna try to save some loot, and get another tank, cuz, I scrubbed the heck out of him and tried to polish him with a micro fiber cloth and some headlight polish lol.

No, well, a member in my area is a really nice guy so I asked him to order him for me for the cheaper price. yay!

Thanks so much for your kind words Saberfrost! Love your name bro.

    I will soon!

    Thanks Coldiron.

Hey, whatsup, Acetone I used a little less than a quarter cup, add into the mix of dye and water, after you mix the dye with the water vigorously.

I think the absolute key is to keep the dye moving, stirring the water. And patience, It wont work quickly it'll take a while. Heat is key as well in my belief, boiling hot.

Boiling heat, stirring action and it will come out.
