What are everybody's thoughts on this comic line? I think it is very interesting and well placed.

Terrible ending (it just kind of...stops) but I really enjoyed the first 80% of it. A great take on TF.

Interesting idea, not so great execution. Would have been better as a six-issue miniseries, so that the story wasn't so rushed, and the ending needed a complete rewrite.

How was the sequel/infestation? I've often debated picking up both (or all three?) but couldn't force myself to.

I have never read the comic but I love the steampunk design aspect of the series. I was a huge fan of the designs from the initial release of the comics.

I am very happy and greatful that MMC has stepped up and created a toy line based on this series.

Generally entertaining but stumbles very, very badly at the end. The sequel was similarly one and three-quarter issues of set-up and five pages of off-panel fighty resolution.

I didn't enjoy the story of the orginal comic or the Infestation continuation of it at all. It has it's merits in the form of the steam era transformers designs though, they are pretty cool.

While I thought the first vol was just eh alright the second vol was down right terrible. It was just poorly executed if I remember correctly.

    Poor.

75% of the story was the rest of the characters desperately trying to reawaken Optimus Prime. Then Prime simply walks over and murders the antagonist. Felt very influenced by the live-action films.

Sums it up for me. And yeah, totally agree that the ending was just terrible.

Interesting idea, poor story. I give 3/5 on both HoS and Infestation 2.
I agree they are too rushed. HoS and I2 should have been longer series.

I think I remember reading that it was supposed to have been a six issue mini series but was cut down to four. And it shows.

I blame the poor execution on editorial inteference.
