This is an amazing custom. Just stunning. Lobo, this really inspires me to get into Kitbashing. Let me know if you have ideas for HOS OP.
Alrighty! Probably my last update until the Con. Got the wheels finished, the chest details done, and redid the head. I'm not sure if I going with this head yet. It seems too small of a face now. But Meg's face in the concept art is small. Dunno. If I can find a little larger face that still looks like Megs, I might make one more. The wheels started out just like the earlier pic. I made wedge shaped pieces out of thin styrene and glued them onto the spokes. This is what I originally planned on doing but the styrene sunk in between the spokes and because the spokes weren't exactly spaced, it looked bad. So I filled in everything with green putty. Once dried, I sanded it into shape. Then filled in low spots and air bubbles with putty again, and sanded again. Did it 6 times until I was happy with the results! I then used a saw to make the grooves in the wheels. The rivets where made using glue and a pin. It worked alright but there's some spots I have to do again to make a nice raised bump. I have no idea what these will look like painted but hopefully they'll show through. Front: Back: Side: Upper torso: And Megatron toying with pathetic fleshbags. Thanks for the compliments everyone!
Seeing that, I just messed my pants. I better go gept the mop and cleaner to wipe up the mess I just made in my recliner. Damn, I can't wait to see the final head and the final piece.
Lobo, I wish you the best for the con this year! This piece is really going to be sharp! I can't wait to see your (and everyone else's) photos from the con. AWESOME . . .

Thanks guys! Alt mode pics for you because Zircor asked so nice. No cannon yet. Still trying to figure out how I'm going to make it. The back end is a little wobbly. I still have to pin certain parts. And one more. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
All hail the master!!!! Really I pull apart Alternators repaint them and even that comes out like crap....You do it all from scratch......wow.
Jesus Christ! Man that is amazing. I am working on a fairly large scratchbuild, and may solicit some tips from you. Absolutely floored by your styrene work!
Lobo, I wonder if you could find a model cannon that had a 4 inch barrell? could make things easier on ya if you could, but I've never looked.
