If Mr. Chaos Wrote ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’

-The film opens on a painting of King Arthur in Sir Burton’s estate. The painting shows a heroic looking King Arthur standing on the battlefield, standard classic heroic painting. Burton narrates “The problem with becoming a legend is that your story is taken from your hands. Truth gives way to compelling lies, record to interesting fiction… fact to fantasy.” As he says this the camera zooms in on the painting’s eye… only to zoom back out to reveal a bloody, disheveled Arthur, his armor caked in blood and mud, his hair a mess, eyes wide with panic, as the chaotic battle rages. We see the Saxon hoard all around them Arthur tries to make sense of it all only to almost get his head cut off by an axe. A helmeted knight, face not visible, saves him and Arthur cheekily asks “Whatever would I do without you.” The humor quickly dies as he looks around and whispers “And so this is how it ends.” A catapult launches a boulder at him and he dives away only for the ground to break and crumble, causing Arthur, the masked knight, and a few saxon barbarians to fall into a hollow chamber. We quickly see that it is covered in Cybertronian glyphs and Arthur looks around in wonder.

We then hear a voice (Scott McNeil) ask “What matters most?” One Saxon lets out a bellows and charges into the darkness… only to be flung back, dead. The voice repeats “What matters most?” The second saxon says “Power” and an axe flies out of the darkness and kills him. “What matters most?”

Arthur: Honor.

Voice: …you… are worthy.

-The camera moves upward, past the battle, into the sky, as text appears stating ‘1600 Years Later’. Burton continues, giving a variation of his speech about the Transformers. He states that the United States Government, even after the disasterous actions of Harold Attinger, still view the Cybertronians as a threat and now seek to either kill them or capture them for research. However, several countries around the world, including China, Cuba, and Germany, offer them now safe harbor. During this we see the remaining Wreckers in Cuba. Burton continues that with Galvatron having retreated after the China Incident and Optimus lost to the stars the Decpticons have no direction and the Autobots struggle to survive.

-We then see Optimus in the mini ship he got in the last movie, flying past Pluto… only for a dark shadow to appear over the ship. From behind Pluto appears a massive space station which easily draws him in. As it does so the ship unleashes a pulse of energy, which NASA detects

-The Chicago scenes are VASTLY different because we are completely cutting Izabella, Canopy, and Squeeks from the film (and be prepared for this to be a recurring theme!). The film suffers, in my opinion, because they wasted so much of the budget on minor characters or to characters who add NOTHING to the plot. Izabella, Squeeks? What do they honestly do that another, established character couldn’t do? So they are gone and the budget will be used on other scenes.

Our new scene shows Cade driving Bumblebee through Chicago, a dump truck behind him. We see notices stating that it is a restricted area, people shouldn’t be there, so on. Cade stops the truck and waits a moment before rolling his eyes and calling out “Guys, it’s me!” Homeless people emerge and Cade goes “What do we have?” The homeless bring carts full of Cybertronian weapons and supplies. As he does so Hound rolls in and begins handing out crates of food and supplies. A few people admit to having nothing and Cade says it is fine, that he knows they are trying and this isn’t them paying for supplies, it just him being nice and they are nice back. However, the good mood is shortlived as Arcee, who is stationed on a roof with a sniper rifle, calls in that she’s spotted TRF agents. Cade curses and tells everyone to head off and Hound agrees to watch their back.

(We are getting rid of the stupid Robocop drones… again, waste…of…money.)

Santos and his team roll in and pester Cade, accusing him of harboring Cybertronians. Cade tells them he doesn’t have anyone and pulls out his paperwork form KSI, reminding them that he is allowed to collect Cybertronian devices and that Santos has been warned before to stop bothering him. During all this Arcee keeps egging Cade on via his earpiece that she can just shoot the idiots, offering up different ways to maim them without killing them (“A shot in a leg. You humans grow back legs, right?”, stuff like that). Santos questions Bumblebee and Cade complains that there are thousands of cars that look like Bee all over. Says you can find them just doing a google search. At this point Lennox drives up and tells Santos to knock it off and let the man work. Santos huffs but leaves and Lennox, without cluing in he knows it is really Bumblebee, tells them to be careful. Cade asks how he can stand working for the bad guys and Lennox says it is better this way… otherwise they’d have no clue what is going on.

None notice Barricade, who is watching nearby, place a tracker on Bumblebee

- The next scene is Optimus waking up chained in place in the space station. He sees the Infericons watching him and demands to know who they are and why they captured him. He hears a female voice tell him that he is wasting his time, as they are slaves to her will, as he soon will be. Optimus asks who she is and Quintessa emerges, stating Optimus was so eager to meet her and yet he doesn’t recognize her. Optimus states she is ‘a Creator’ and Quintessa states yes and no. She did not see to his building… she is merely an Arbiter and that he word is law… and that all obey her law. Optimus breaks free of his chains and draws his sword, impaling her… and it does nothing. Quintessa asks him if he honestly thought that would work and shocks him. Optimus bellows in pain and Quintessa states that soon he will bow to her willingly.

-In DC Lennox meets with General Morshower and says that the TRF is causing too many problems. While the public doesn’t like the Transformers they also don’t like having their rights stomped on. He details how they do whatever they want. Morshower states that he hates it too but there is nothing he can do at the moment… they are all at an impasse and all the two of them can do is protect the Autobots from the inside. He reminds Cade that it was hard enough to get the government to agree to hold the Cybertronians captive and not kill them and Lennox is glad the only ones they’ve caught are Decepticons. Morshower states there is a reason for that: The Autobots are living and when the last is gone it will only be them versus the Decepticons… and Galvatron is still out there.

-In England Sir Burton is looking over computers that now take up the formal dining hall and sees the pulse of energy. The voice from the opening states “They are returning”. The two argue, with the Voice, still hidden in the shadows, stating they must ‘retrieve it’ and Burton states they don’t have the man power. The Voice states they do… it is time for them to ‘bring them in’. Burton nods and the Voice adds ‘Her too’, much to Burton’s worry.

-Barricade arrives to the warehouse where Galvatron has set up base. Here we get an important little subplot: Barricade at first calls him ‘Lord Galvatron’ but Galvatron growls never to call him that again. That is the name the humans gave him when they thought him their puppet. Baricade then tries to call him Megatron but again is cut off; Galvatron states he isn’t worthy of that name. Megatron was a warrior… he has done nothing. Barricade reveals that he places a tracker on Bee. Soundwave (still in his Stinger form but with a Soundwave-like head) states that with their current numbers they would never survive the battle. Galvatron states that it is then time for them to find some old friends…

-Cade arrives at the junkyard (no Chief scenes) and meets up with Jimmy, who complains that the Dinobots don’t listen to him and keep wanting to stretch their legs while Drift and Crosshairs are no help and he didn’t sign up for this. He was supposed to get an internship with KSI, not babyshit alien robot dinosaurs. Cade marches over to Grimlock, Slug, Strafe, and Scorn and wants to know what is going on. They transform and complain that they were locked away millions of years and that they are tired of hiding. They demand to hunt, to fight foes and engage in glorious battle. Cade says he’s working on it, but they need to get the smaller Autobots out first. The dumptruck arrives and turns into Daytrader, who complains that Cade almost blew their cover. Cade argues he didn’t and that everything is fine. We learn that Cade is secretly helping Autobots escape the USA and get to the Cybertron-friendly countries. He is also working to repair the Autobots. Drift is revealed to be the next one to be heading out and he thinks its because Bee doesn’t trust him. Bee says he doesn’t and Drift is lucky he doesn’t scrape him. He says he remembers all the friends Deadlock killed and isn’t going to forgive him… but for Optimus he will let him live. Drift snarls that Bee thinks he’s in charge just because of his connection to Optimus. Crosshairs makes comments about Bee being a daddy’s boy and Hound tells them all the shut up. Grimlock then tells Cade “With…allies like these… do you see… why we wish… to leave?” Cade admits he has a point.

-In England Oxford professor Viviane Wembley is giving a speech in a lecture hall about the Arthurian legend. She asks for questions and when every hand raises she says “Any questions not concerning my father?” All the hands instantly go down. Backstage another professor states that the lecture went well but Viviane complains that all anyone wants to talk about is her family and how insane they are. She states that she left that life behind, even changed her last name, and people still want to know about her crazy dad. The professor jokes she should do something just as crazy… as they leave the building Viviane turns and notices a black and orange Lamborghini.

-Late at night at the TRF holding facilities Lennox is settling into bed but gets up and pulls out a hidden photo album. There are pictures of his wife, his daughter, of Epps, of Sam and Mikaela… and of him with the Autobots. Before he can dwell on it for long he hears alarms going off. He rushing outside to witness Galvatron, Soundwave, and Barricade attacking the prison. The three manage to free several prisoners: Cyclonus (using Nitro’s body but with a different head and voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), Mohawk (same voice), Crowbar (same design), and Scourge (resembles Blackout but with a different head that is more in line with the more human-like faces from AOE and a pale blue color scheme, voiced by Bumper Robinson doing his Animated Blitzwing german voice). Scourge releases his Sweeps, which are the drones the TRF used in the film, to attack the TRF, forcing them back. During this fight Lennox keeps calling for airsupport, for heavy weapons… but none comes. After the Cons escape he confronts Santos, who doesn’t seem that concerned and realizes Santos set this up. The man admits he let slip through unsecured channels where the prison was and made sure the weapons were done. When Lennox gets in his face Santos explains his plan: let the Decepticons find the Autobots, soften them up, and then they blow up all of them. Lennox tells him that won’t fly but Santos says he’s already gotten approval.

As he finishes it is revealed that Soundwave is watching all this thanks to Buzzsaw (a Laserbeak design with yellow coloring). Galvatron admits he’s impressed with the human… he’ll kill him last.

-In space Quintessa explains to Optimus that Cybertron was merely one of many planets her race seeded with cubes to create Robotic life. The Creators would allow a species to slowly grow before returning and asserting their rule. She comments he already met another robotic race, Lockdown. She states they became gladiators who constantly sought to strengthen themselves. She says that the Infericons are another who became gestalts. She says she is most impressed with Optimus and his race and had it not been for the Knights Optimus and his kind would have served her well. Optimus asks if tht is why she hired Lockdown to capture him and she admits it is… because she needs him to obtain two things for her. Optimus tells her he’ll never help her and won’t let her terraform the planet. Quintessa laughs and destroys the Seed, saying that her decision is that Earth must die. She then grabs Optimus’ head and he screams as she sends purple energy into it, telling that it is time for him to fulfill his purpose.

-The next day Cade wakes up and makes his phone call to Tessa, same as the movie. Only, right after he gets off the phone Hound gets another call… from Lennox who warns him TRF sold them out and the Decepticons are coming NOW. Cade warns the others and the Dinobots decide to form the first wave, itching for a fight, while Cade and the main Autobots go into the ghost town. The Decepticons arrive and Galvatron asks Soundwave if the humans are watching. He says they are and he Soundwave hack the TRF weapons, causing them to only target the Dinobots, injuring them. The Dinobots still put up a good fight and we get some great stuff with Grimlock fighting Galvatron, with Grimlock even stating he could have been a knight. Galvatron states he’d rather be a king. As Megatron, Scourge, and Cyclonus fight the Dinobots he sends Barricade, Mohawk, Soundwave, and Crowbar to fight the Autobots. Arcee manages to kill Mohawk but the others prove too tough and it isn’t helped when Soundwave has the TRF once again only target the Autobots and the Sweeps keep pestering them. Cade and Jimmy are forced to flee, getting to a roof where they hid weapons… only to find a metal Raptor standing on the roof. It lets out a roar and charges at Cade and Jimmy only to leap over them and transform, attacking Crowbar and killing him before helping the Autobots drive back the Decepticons.

The other Dinobots join them and Grimlock complains they softened them up. The Raptor states “You’ve gotten soft in your old age”, revealing he is The Voice. Grimlock states to all that this is Slash, another of the knights. Crosshairs complains that he never heard of a Slash and he isn’t feeling to trusting of the Dinobots anyway. At that point Bumblebee asks if his word is good enough and clasps hands with Slash. The others are shocked Bumblebee and Slash know each other and Bee says it is a long story. Slash says they’ll have plenty of time to hear it… Sir Burton has commissioned cargo planes to take everyone to England. He tells Bee “It’s time”

(Yes, no Cogman in this version either. I loved the character but again… he doesn’t DO anything. Had he actually transformed, maybe… but he is just an expensive CGI effect that doesn’t alter anything in the story. So he is gone)

-At headquarters Lennox reads Santos the riot act for his stupidity that got good men killed but Santos only cares about tracking the Autobots. When Morshower states they are leaving, which is what they want, Santos says he wants them dead. Lennox comments that Santos will do anything, even trust the Decepticons and Santos roars “I NEVER TRUST THEM! NEVER! I’M NOT YOU! I’M NOT MY FATHER! THEY WILL DIE!” He leaves to get his team and Lennox tells Morshower to investigate Santos.

- In England Viviane walks down the sidewalk, still tailed by the orange and black car. Annoyed he ducks into an alley and the car turns into Hot Rod (voiced by Nathan Fillion). She merely glares at him and tells him she’s too old to have a babysitter. Hot Rod is upset, saying he isn’t a babysitter, he is a friend and Viviane sighs and apologizes, saying that he’s her oldest friend. She says though that she knows he’s here because her father wants to see her. Hot Rod says he has to come and Viviane says she won’t. Hot Rod apologizes… before transforming around her and driving off, calling out as he drives past a crowd “Don’t mind me, just kidnapping someone!”

_Galvatron rants about their failure only for Soundwave to reveal he has hacked the TRF systems again and is following the Autobots… and they are headed for Great Britain. Galvatron tells his soldiers to prepare to hunt once more.

- At Sir Burton’s home he stands with his dog next to a WWII tank and says “Be nice. Don’t leap at them, okay?” Cade, the Autobots, Jimmy, and the Dinobots arrive with Slash to Sir Burton’s home only for the tank to transform and point his guns at them, demanding the bastards stand down in the name of the Queen. Burton apologizes and gets Warpath (Voiced by Hugh Bonneville) to stand down, explaining the old general still thinks at times the war is going on. Arcee comments that the house is big even for them and Sir Burton says that is the point, that it was designed to allow Cybertronians to easily stay there. He greets Bumblebee warmly and Crosshairs gets annoyed, demanding answers only for Hot Rod to appear. The autobots (save Drift and the Dinobots) stare in shock at Hot Rod as he and Bee hug, Hound commenting that Hot Rod died centuries ago. Burton again states he will explain everything. It is also here we learn that Viviane is Burton’s daughter.

It is revealed that he has modified his house to easily let the Autobots come in, though the Dinobots are too big and have to stand outside at the widnows. Slash begins first with Grimlock chiming in at times: Millions of years ago the Dinobots served The Creators but, on Earth, rebelled against them and the other knights, along with some scientist and aide robots. Slash was gravely injured in the fight, as were Sludge and Snarl, but the latter were strong enough to join Grimlock in pursuing The Creators. Slash was left on Earth with the scientists/aide robots to first recover and then stand guard over The Tomb. Slash states the Tomb had been the ship belonging to The Creators’ greatest Knight: Dragonstorm, a monsterous 3-headed dragon Transformer. He was their most powerful and loyal soldier, to the point that the Creators gifted him with The Staff, a weapon so powerful it can even kill a Creator, who are otherwise invulnerable to physical attacks. The Dinobots managed to seal Dragonstorm within The Tomb along with The Staff. Slash states that for millionaires of years he and the scientists watched…

Slash: At first I looked down upon them. I saw them not as ones willing to fight, only wishing to study this new world we called home. But in time… I grew to care about them. Until they became my family.

At this point he stops by a wall and presses a button, causing the wall to retract and reveal statues of the Aides, revealed to be called by The Creators… The Maximals. They have beastial helmets in robot form and the camera pans over their names:

Burton then picks up the tale: in 400 AD King Arthur and his most trusted knight fell into The Tomb and met Slash and the aides. Arthur impressed Slash and he decided to aide him. For nearly 20 years the humans and the Maximals worked together but soon they all feared the Staff falling into the wrong hands or worse, someone awakening Dragonstorm. In the end it was decided that Arthur and his knights, along with the Maximals, would take the ship and hide it where none could find it. By go together they would biolock it so that only by having a Knight of the Roundtable and a Maximal together could the ship be unlocked. Because there was the chance the Creators could return it was decided that Slash would remain (“Once again… I was left behind”) as would Arthur’s most trusted knight. Cade guesses Lancealot and Jimmy Galahad but Burton smiles and reveals the knight… was Guinevere. He then states that Guinevere hid the fact she was a knight and creates the tales of her role in the downfall of Camalot to hide the truth: that she carried her and Arthur’s child.

Viviane would interrupt and ask if this is the point he reveals he is the descendant. He says no… it was Viviane’s mother. The flashback would cut to the mask knight removing her helmet to reveal she resembles Viviane with black hair. Burton would state that the line went from mother to daughter, with Slash and a trusted group of Squires watching over ‘The Last Knight’. He also states that for years only the Squires and Slash guarded the line until the Autobots began to appear. The likes of Hot Rod and Warpath faked their deaths upon learning the truth but Bumblebee was inducted in their ranks to serve as their connection to Optimus and his group. Arcee demands to know if Bumblebee was a spy and he explains that no, he merely was given a task he couldn’t even tell Optimus. Drift claims this proves Bumblebee shouldn’t be leader but Cade tells them to knock it off. He then asks why they are here.

Burton reveals that a few days ago a signal reached them… it was from a Creator Ship, which is headed to Earth. He fears they have returned to claim Dragonstorm and reclaim Earth and that they need their help to stop them. Viviane, as the Last Knight of the Round Table, must join with Slash to retrieve the Staff, the only weapon that can kill a Creator, while he asks the Autobots and the Dinobots to help guard Dragonstorm until the Creator is destroyed. After a few moments they all agree but it is clear that the autobots aren’t happy with Bee. Warpath, who was listening, happily tells them he can’t wait to go, with Burton a bit annoyed the senile bot heard them.

The camera pans to reveal Buzzsaw listening in and Galvatron lands on the shores of England, wondering about The Staff.

-As they drive to the ocean Galvatron and his forces attack. We get a nice battle with the group working to escape and distract the Decepticons while Santos and his team also join in the mix. Finally Burton, Viviane, Jimmy, and Cade getting into a submersible, revealed to be Seaspray, another Autobot who faked his death and joined the Squires. The Autobots dive into the water while the Dinobots lead Galavatron and his team away.

-No sub battle. Just Santos (with Lennox who manages to arrive) giving chase. Again, saving money for the bots.

-Arriving at the ocean floor they find The Tomb and enter. Burton tries to talk to Viviane but she isn’t interested. Cade wonders what that is about and Burton states that Viviane felt his strange, kooky nature degraded the family and made them a family of scandal. He was laughed out of academia (which Burton claims he did on purpose because he was bored) and Viviane felt that he should have given her mother a better life; Burton confesses maybe so but he loved his wife and she loved him and never judged him. He regrets the pain he caused Viviane and hopes one day she understands.

The arrive in the main chamber to find the skeletons of the knights and the cold frames of the Maximals. Slash quietly greets each one, calling Rattrap ‘Vermin’, and Primal ‘The idealistic fool’ but it is clear it hurts that they are gone. Jimmy accidently awakens Skullitron, another of the Creator-loyal knights who was locked away, and the group battles him. The noise makes it so they don’t hear Santos and Lennox arrive. Viviane and Slash open the first door to reveal the Staff but before they can touch it the ship shudders… and Optimus burst in. The autobots are delight only for Optimus to coldly shoot Hound in the shoulder. His purple eyes flicker and he tells them that by the law of the Creators they are guilty. Slash declares him one of their puppets and the Autobots and Slash attack. However, Optimus utterly wipes the floor with them, and as he does so he mocks each of them. He asks Drift if he truly believes a few years of helping him can make up for millions of years of death and mayhem. He tells Crosshairs he’s so desperate to lead but no one would follow a faithless cretin like him. He asks Hound how many bots died because he was too slow. He mocks Hot Rod, saying he knew of his dreams to be the next prime and mockily calls him ‘Rodimus’ before stabbing him. And he tells Bee he was always a disappointment. Finally Optimus holds Cade in his hand and tells Slash and Viviane to open the second door or he’ll kill them all. Cade tells them not to but Viviane relents and Slash states that his honor won’t let him see Cade die. They open the second door and Dragonstorm emerges. Optimus claims the Staff and leaps onto Dragonstorm’s back, telling him to take them to Quintessa even as Santos and Lennox fire on him.

The Autobots mourn that they’ve failed but Cade rallies them, finally realizing they are in a space ship and can give chase. Santos however pulls his gun on Cade and tells him he’ll deal with Optimus right after he kills the Autobots. Cade demands to know what his problem is, that the Autobots are trying to help, and Santos says they ruin everything. Lennox agrees… and reveals Santos’ father was one of Dylan Gould’s group, the ones that sided with the Decepticons. Santos changed his name because his family was ruined when it came out. Santos yells that his father believes until he died in prison that the Cybertronians wouldn’t abandon him and that’s when he realized they all needed to die. He swears to kill them all… only for Burton to knock him out with his walking stick.

The group get to the cockpit and Warpath realizes he can fly the ship, declaring it will be like storming the beaches of Norway. Cade asks if he means Normandy and Burton sighs and says no he doesn’t… and that it took a lot of explaining to get them out of that mess

The Autobots pick up the Dinobots and fly towards Quintessa’s ship, which is hovering over London. Quintessa thanks Optimus before commanding Dragonstorm to transform. He does so (think Megatron’s Dragon body from beast wars) and takes the sword and she commands Dragonstorm, Optimus, and the Infericons to destroy the humans, starting with London.

-We get a massive battle with all the robots going at it. At one point the Infericons combine and target Viviane only for Burton to dive in front of her, taking the shot. She cradles him as he dies and he tells her that his greatest work was her. She breaks down crying before steeling herself, picking up his sword… only to realize it is a cane sword. She draws it and marches forward, taking out a small Infericon that tries to attack her. During the battle Optimus corners Bumblebee and mocks him, saying he doesn’t have it in him to kill him. Bumblebee says that is true… and says that Optimus raised him from a sparkling, gave him a life and a purpose…and if he feels this is where he must die, so be it. Bumblebee deactivates his weapons and as Optimus raises his blade he states “We never had a true word for it on Cybertron… but if I may borrow a term from the humans… I believe in you, father.”

Optimus stops his sword an inch from Bumblebee’s face. He trembles before roaring, the purple leaving his eyes as he falls to his knees. He whispers that he was fighting the entire time, that it was as if he were a prisoner in his own body… and stays, “Thank you, my son, for never giving up on me.” Optimus then joins in the battle, taking out the Infericons before commanding the Autobots to take Quintessa’s ship. As they do so we see the Dinobots fighting Dragonstorm, forcing him back into beast mode as they chase after him.

-The humans and the Autobots arrive on Quintessa’s ship and try and engage her only for her to easily restrain them all. Quintessa mocks them all, saying that at one point she might have let them serve but now they will die. Drift roars that they will never serve her and she casually shoots a hole through him, causing his eyes to flicker as he leaks energon. She fires purple energy at them, trying brainwash them, telling Optimus if he doesn’t give in she’ll kill everyone one of his friends and then she’ll make him torture the humans slowly… only to hear…

“Prime, torture one of his precious humans? Now that I would pay to see!”

Galvatron walks onto the ship’s bridge, his Decepticons joining him. Quintessa looks at him and states she has heard of him, how he was a proud warrior. He states that all he wanted was a strong Cybertron and she says she will give it to him, purple energy slowly flowing into him. She says all he must do is swear himself to her and he may take Dragonstorm’s place as her most loyal warrior. She holds out the staff as she powers all her power into him. Galvatron narrows his eyes.

Galvatron (slowly walking toward, sparks shooting from his body and head): I am not a minion. I am not a puppet. I am not a slave! (grabs the Staff) I AM MEGATRON! (impales Quintessa)

Quintessa screams in pain as Megatron attacks her. Dragonstorm and the rest of the Infericons arrive but the Autobots and Decepticons work together to defeat them, with Optimus and Grimlock killing Dragonstorm together while Scourge is killed. Quintessa, heavily injured, escapes from Megatron, firing at him and knocking the Staff from his hands. She gets to an escape pod and jettisons away while the Autobots and Decepticons finish off the last of her forces. Megatron looks at Optimus, who states that he sees they have a common foe and that they should work together. He states they were brothers… and Megatron says “Once” before stating it is far too late. He warns that he will never stop, that this is only a reprieve but when the threat of the Creators is gone, the two of them will settle the score. He tells the Decepticons to retreat.

The Autobots gather around Drift, who is dying. He asks if they stopped Quintessa and Optimus confirms they did. Drift says that it was all worth it then and tells them that if anyone asks of his story tell it all, the good and the bad… so that others may know one can try to come back from the darkness. Bee tells him no… there was no ‘try’, that he did make it right. Drift sighs and says “So young… so foolish” before dying.

The final scenes show the Autobots burying Drift at the Burton estate, along with Sir Burton. Cade asks what they’ll do now and Optimus says that it is time for them to go home. He takes the staff while giving Bumblebee his sword. He sends out a final message to all Autobots: it is time to go home before they use the Tomb to leave Earth.

The midcredit scene shows Quintessa, still injured, entering a larger station. There, the Quintesson Judges (the four hideous faces on one body, long wire-bundle arms, the whole deal) tell her she failed, that the rebels still live and their greatest weapon is now in the hands of Prime. Quintessa begs them to spare her and they ask for what possible reason would they let her life. She states they are wrong… that Prime doesn’t have the ultimate weapon. That it is still out there, lost… but she will find it and use it to kill them all. The Judge demands she reveal this weapon even they don’t know of.

QUintessa smiles even as she clutches her bleeding side.

“They call it… Unicron.”

 

Nice! i have a question. do you think the Knights and Maximal's were Created on Planet Eukaris from the IDW comics?

 

In my version of it yeah, they very well could have been. I introduced the idea of other planets with robotic life to allow for such things, or Planet Junk or any of the colony worlds

 

i assume Unicron is an Quintesson weapon?

 

I am going the route set up by the original cartoon: The transformers were created by the Quints. That includes Unicron. He isn't some god like in the comics

 

in the cartoon Unicron was created by some weird looking fish monkey thing called Primacron.

are you going to write a spin off based on Beast Wars?

 

Right now no. But in my movie world the second spin off, after the Bumblebee Movie, would be Transformers: King of Beasts, which would be a medieval Beast Wars story about Slash and the Maximals having to hold Camelot against a siege of awakened Quintesson Predacon Soldiers. We'd have Terrasaur, Waspinator, Tarantulus, so on, led by what would be Megatron in all but name only in his dragon form.

 

you know i had an idea just like that called "Beast Knights" it was an alternate sequel to Beast Wars where instead of landing on Cybertron, the Maximals crash landed back on earth only this time they ended up in the middle ages.

 

The way I see the spinoff going is it would be a classic siege defense movie... think The Two Tower's battle of Helm's Deep. The Maximals, the knights of the Round table, and Slash vs. the Predacons and a barbarian horde.
