I was just wondering does healing team mates give any other xp other than From the brink?

There should be more benefits to healing, totally. If you focus on a med class, you are totally getting jipped on kills, so it should be compensated.

You're not going to get XP each time you heal someone, but a couple of the scientist's challenges (in Teletraan 1) involve healing and they offer XP.

Medic setup with Drain and a Repair ray destroys people.
You fly in, hit drain and start with the ray, next thing you know they're out.
If they get to close a melee will finish them off, then you pop a healing sentry.

    Works like a charm.

Well yeah, a scientist is still weak, you've got to come in from behind or use an EMP shotgun as a secondary.

If they implemented an end of match XP bonus dependent on how much you healed your team, i.e based on the number of health units replenished, it would possibly make it a more desirable ability within the class or at least increase the incentive to heal.

There should definitely be EXP from hell for healing. Not only are you vulnerable when you heal, thus risking your life for another character, but some guy was following my Prime around yesterday keeping my alive while I was chain killing. He was kicking ass as a medic.

I love being a healer! I have an entire Scientist dedicated just to the healing perks. Energon Repair Ray with Battle Medic upgrade, Repair Sentry, and Healing Grenades with Sanctuary upgrade. I call 'im Medic.

He's real fun to use. I use him all the time when I'm paying Count Down to extinction and Power Struggle. I just follow my teammates around healing them. I get decent kills too. You just have to have a good defence Mechanism, so I have Shockwave, and an EMP Shotgun with him.

Total BS, maybe they should have played some Team Fortress 2 to see how the different classes should work together.

yeah it's a little odd to not have healing give you points, especially when it does when you play competitive co-op.

For that matter, I think you should get points for reviving dead teammates in Escalation too, since you're often putting your life on the line when you do so.

    Agreed so FRACKIN' much!

You should get something like 10 XP per bar of health healed, either through yourself, sentry or a grenade. You should also get assist XP if someone you healed kills someone. I've seen too many scientist who ignore healing their teammates to try to go for the kill - what's the point of gaining only 15XP when you can get a minimum of 50XP for killing someone.

Play as a scientist in Conquest to pick up points - you'll never get enough kills in TDM to make it worth your time. You can just follow around the leaders and soldiers and heal them as they assault nodes. Keep them alive, fight when you have to, and stick around for the +150 you get for taking a node.
