So on 360, do the game sounds come through the mic too or just voices. I've obviously never used my mic and was thinking of using just so I can hear the game.
I have a sony bluetooth headset and when I munch on cheetos or i'm about to go drop some bombs I mute myself for common courtesy. now all we need is a mute button for people that don't have the decency to do what I do. And chatter I hear on WFC is usually friendly. if anything I hear people complain about shots (like I do when I lag and melee someone then somehow miss and they shotty me 10 times.) which I can understand. I hear more backtalk in the Blur demo then I do in WFC. i'm glad to say that our fanbase isn't all that rude as it could've been. It still needs a mute option. All though conversation might sound important in multiplayer it's 100% more prominent in escalation. if you don't talk you're screwing your team.
One time me and "UofLfinest" ran into a match with my friend madman and his younger partner. madman is immature anyways but this little kid was borderline brick-stupid. kid: You don't even know how to play! @finest Finest: @kid bro you don't even know who you're talking to do you? kid: Like I care you suck! Me: says the one that's gone lonewolf on us 4 times and died 6... kid: Shut up! ah I love 10 year olds that think they know wth they're doing.
I only have two other friends who play WFC and one of them I hardly even talk to in the first place. I was unfortunately playing alone since neither of them were on. Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to play with both of them over the weekend.
I actually don't use my mic at all. When I have the mic plugged in I can hear everyone else being annoying (as you stated in your post) and it drives me insane. So for me, I don't use it, and just having music goin on so I don't have annoying people talking, shouting, acting immature, and etc so I just hear music and that's it.
Play a game with Madman... He laughs at every thing that happens too you. he makes farting noises when you have someone behind you and he likes to say that you aren't going to make it when you clearly are. I finished wave 8 on remnant by myself with soundwave... I had hardly any points left but I still did it.
Is there a way to mute those fools while playing on PS3?? I couldn't find an option in game or on the console....
The only way to mute ppl on the PS3 is to either add them to your block list, or turn on your mic and put it on the other side of the room so all there voices come through the mic and not the TV.
you don't get it. the mute button mutes YOUR voice. not theirs. The only thing I could do is turn down the volume on my headset. which is stupid.
Not having a headset for my PS3, as well as the fact that I believe I'm quite crap at this particular game, have kept me form playing any co-op yet. I wish they would have had some OFFLINE co-op in WFC. One of the few things I can criticize it for.
Sadly, he was able to track me down somehow and kill me. I'm pretty sure I killed him a few more times after that though, but not out of spite. Yup all I heard was "Alright, lobster, I'm comin' to get you! You got lucky blah blah". People were also laughing at me because I accidentally activated my Whirlwind ability by pushing the button on accident. I was somewhat D:
I don't have a mic but for some reason I'm always stuck playing with douches, I was playing just yesterday and some guy could not stop calling everyone fags, I get it! your insecure with your sexuality and called everybody out who was picking leader or soldier saying it was cheap. All i could think was who cares you noob if you where good enough with a scientist you wouldn't be afraid of leaders/soldiers.
I play on the 360 on escalation and conquest most of the time, I honestly never hear much chatter. Anything I ever hear is someone going "anyone here got a mic" on multiplayer and on escalation, and usually it's more of teamwork on escalation.
