Just to clairify, The Rebirth had 3 parts, not four. It did NOT End G1, it just ended the US TV series. The Rebirth was from 1987 and G1 went on until 1991. G2 started in 1992.

Headmasters continued the G1 Transformers series, but ignored the events of The Rebirth, instead inventing a different origin for Headmasters and Targetmasters.

In Headmasters the Cerebros character was called Fortress. He did carry a sword, which is that sword you have.

I apologize for the "four part" error.

When i think of G1 i think of the stuff up to the end of The Rebirth, as you mentioned, which is the US TV series. Since i never watched or even heard of the other stuff, such as Headmasters, until i was much much older, i still don't really consider that part of anything i guess. Thank you though for the further clarification.

Having produced a Cerebros upgrade head myself, I must admit this is better than mine. I like the look and feel of G1, so if I can somehow fit the face of one of these on a repro-Spike I'll be quite happy!

Like it. As the reviewer said hopefully they'll redeco it to match the rest of the maximus particularly brave maximus first.

Breaking up the set - any takers?

    Hey everyone,

I'm really liking the look of this set - but I can't really justify paying $60 for it, since I only want the masked-looking Headmaster - not the other one.

Anyone interested in splitting up the set with me? I'd buy it, and someone else buys the circled Japanese headmaster for a fair price (like $25?). I'm going to add it to my order from BBTS.

Or, if someone else is already thinking of this, I'd happily buy the mouth-guarded version from them too when these are released. :)

Will the new heads fit inside the head section of Fort Max when attached?

With all due respect...but if someone has spent enough money to have a Fort Max in their collection, 60 bucks really shouldn't be that big of a drop in the bucket.

Has anyone reviewed this since? was hoping for a review of the whole product, not just the review sample now.
