Finally finished and long overdue headmaster commission.
Bascially same reciepe as my previous build but with the exception of the 3rd party headmaster.

Love the addition of the Headmaster Ray! Nice job on this one, but of course, I'm partial to the one you made for me man. Would love to maybe get that headmaster from you though, hit me up with a PM. Would it work with the existing head ball joint on mine?

That is bonkers on quite a few levels. I know the armor has been done before, but I actually find myself loving how that 3rd party headmaster looks on the body. Still, it's a really good amalgam of classics meeting G1.

thanks Mr Ray, looking forward to getting this from you :D

Really well worth the wait (even if it was over due)!

I bought a set of City Commader style missles for this too to give it slightly a more IDW'ish look. Chances are like wheeljack2010 I might be asking you about doing some extra little addons.

Thanks for your time spent doing this!

very nice, although the headmaster would benefit from some modding to get it more like the regular head. is it possible to add longer 'smoke stacks' and his aviators? would be a huge improvement for very little work

    ie. from this

The only problem with extending the stack is that you won't be able to transform the head into it's truck mode.
    See this picture:

What you're asking for would basically limit what his headmaster could do. As the person getting the end result, I'd sooner have the leave it as it is considering I'd rarely have it attached to UM and would be keeping the custom head that Ray made on the figure most of the time.

4 or 5 more years to go, until I can get the attic converted and get my shealving done the way I want! This will be my centre figure to my... man loft?...

Edit: Posting that pic and looking back at Ray's paint work on this tiny Junkion figure goes to show how skilled the guy is :D  Thanks once again Ray!

This armor blows City Commander out of the water, and that's an impressive feat. I love how the tiny robot harkens to UM's aesthetic so much,
makes me think of the "character" Mini-Cons from the Arms Micron line.

    Great work.

That JB Headmaster actually looks pretty good... just needed a visor and it'd be a pretty darn good head for the figure. Still, the G1 head you made to go on it is better though.

    Overall a nice job man.
