I was just thinking about all the threads about what toys would make good classics or masterpiece figures...I know this thread pops up every week but I was just thinking how cool it would be to have classics headmaster figures... They could do a lot with those figures now a days!
Yes, it would be cool. I'd also like to see a sort of Minicon-style effect where extra weapons deploy when the head is attached, to explain why a second brain needs to be brought on board. Be really cool if the robot retained his own head when not linked with his Nebulan.
Since Animated is almost done, I highly doubt it. If you got Energon Omega Supreme it's a headmaster. I'm really impressed with the how Hasbro updated the headmaster concept. After the movie, and if Hasbro starts up the Universe line again, I'd hope they'd do updated headmasters.

If they're going to do new Headmasters as lame as Armada Sideways or Energon Omega Supreme, no thanks.
Well, we've had Headmasters like E. Omega Supreme and A. Sideways, but I really want to see a new version subgroup of them... with interchangable heads. I really liked the whole power levels panel in the chests, too, but I can deal without that. I'd like to see some Targetmaster guns packed like the old mini-con 3-packs. Of course... how many ways can you turn a little robot that size into a gun... I don't think it'll happen, practically speaking, but it would sure be cool.
Im talking like straight up re-makes of the original headmasters like chromedome, Highbrow, etc. as part of the classics line in the future... so Im not really concerned with a figure whose head comes off or on as another figure or not. Im more focused on the characters
I know a lot of people don't like Energon Omega Supreme but I think its superb. The headmaster robot on Omega only makes it better IMO.
