So here is my first attempt at a headmaster-
I made Gort from a Bionicle(?) guy and Gen 1 Galvatrons face
Powerglide donated his body to make Highbrow and then i took the turbines(if thats what they're called) from a toy plane and attatched those.

Gort sits on a magnet and attaches to the neck post snugly.

Would be awesome to see a pic of Highbrow with his head on :lol

Looks good but doesn't scream Headmaster Highbrow to me. Paintwork looks nice though!

For the record, that's a NeoShifter figure, with Blast Off's head (which looks really cool, by the way).

Like Locustreign, I don't really see Highbrow there; aside from the twin turbines and the Headmaster, there's not really anything that evokes him.
That's not to take anything away from a really cool kitbash, however. The vehicle mode especially looks awesome; I really like the look of the turbines on the jet, and I love that shot of Gort climbing up the side! :lol
I would suggest, if you can, finding a way to fold the turbines up to the side for robot mode, though. As they are, they hang very far out, and very low, which looks kind of awkward; his shoulders look almost level with his waist.

    Your paintjob is absolutely gorgeous...

head looks a little big but love the paint, color, wing thrusters and the use of the ppwermaster optimus prime gun as a front mounted cannon.

I think this is great and really creative. The head does seem a little big in the face but its a darn good job.

Not feeling highbrow but the paint looks good. I think everyone pretty much said the same, find a way to get those turbines up (hinge?) and it'd look 10 times better. And Ramrider as for the head I think he's talking about Highbrows which is Galvatrons.

    Thanks guys.
Yeah I do agree but I just had this galvatron face in my parts bin and and a neoshifter (thanks ramrider) and thought 'headmaster eh?'
sadly the only figure I had at the time was powerglide and went for Highbrow as I already had an idea of how to put those turbines on plus I was was way too eager to wait to buy another TF, then wait for it to be posted........

Honestly, I think if you painted this blue and tan, it would scream Highbrow. It's nice, nonetheless, though.

    Thanks for sharing :thumb

Thanks SQ7, with the gift of hindsight I would have done.... plus the only reference I had when painting was an '87 transformers annual as my internet crashed :D
