Headmaster Duros. This is a little bit of a teaser for a project I am soon to finish up. I got a little ahead of myself and wanted to post these tonigh (no pun intended)

Duros was built using mainly U. Nightstick and lower legs from a minicon, who's name I don't remember. I added HLJ ball joints at the hips giving it even more articulation. He stands about 1.75" tall.

looks good. Do you dry brush lighter colors around the panel edges to bring out more detail? I can't tell if its the light playing tricks on me or a lighter shade.

Looking forward to the rest of the body, is it a Movie style one to match chromedome? Entire set on the way?

    i love me some headmasters

also, any reason your site hasn't been updated with the last few customs?

Dude, that's amazing. I've got Three Targetmasters in the works (still) and the paint applications you did on this are very inspiring!

Can you share a little more about how you went about painting?

Edit: The legs, are they from Safeguard?

nice Dude. Good green on that. I'd like to see your Duros transformed and from the back. Perhaps in part 2 huh? Been liking everything in the tons of stuff you're putting out recently.

The Headmasters are rad. I'm currently working on a little Duros buddy too -- making from a little Halo dude. Gonna make me an animated Hardhead from Shockwave, but all this stuff is pretty new to me.

Can't wait to see some more professionally done Headmasters from you. You planning on doing up a Highbrow and Brainstorm, or any of the decepti-beasts? Would like to see you do them all!!

Duros indicates a Hardhead is on the way. Hope its the classics version. It'll be interesting to see if he has the mouthplate like the toy or a mouth like the cartoons and comics.

I can't help but feel that you're teasing us a bit, showing us a headmaster and leaving out any images of his alt mode. Regardless, the robot mode is superb, and your painting continues to set the standard. Great work.

It's silly that Hasbro shortchanges us on these guys, such a simple mod adds so much movement in those thighs

for sure AM. Easy mod too. I just pulled the pin out from the hips and cut off the tops of each leg, replaced with a HLJ mini socket for a ball. Then the pegs with ball went in the holes in the middle part, took about 15 minutes.
