I'm considering making a custom based on the IDW version of Chromedome (the mnemosurgeon), but I'm having a hard time picking the right head to use as a base. Can anyone make any suggestions/recommendations, preferably one from a modern (Classics/movieverse/etc.) figure?
    Appreciate the feedback--thanks!

Perhaps a modified Kre-O Jazz head with a face plate?

    thats a toughy

i think you do make one out of a tracks head with some modifications
or maybe a drift or blurr head

no scratch that it could be done easiest with that deluxe prime mold from the megatron optimus 2 pack

not current but im sure one of those wouldnt be hard to track down actually i think i may have one

I'm fixating on his ears. Universe Sunstreaker, ears glued in, with a new face?

Actually, there's gotta be something closer to his face minus the ears, which you could add later.

The upcoming FOC Fireflight head might work well.

    Thanks for the ideas, gang!
The more I look at it, the more that new Fireflight head jumps out at me...all it needs are some grill lines on the ears and maybe a new forehead crest attached.
'course, that means I have to wait.....please let Hasbro get these out by the holidays...*sigh*

Oo! Potentially even better! I've got to suss out exactly how I want to do that before taking a knife to my Skyfall...he's one of the older guys in my collection. (Though after "Bullets," he's got it coming.)

Looking through MtMtE, Prime Wheeljack's upper body seems to be a good match. Not sure on the legs though.
