nope, not having this at all. I got a bunch of the newer stuff because I liked the design. I actually appreciate the simplicity and cleaner lines of certain toys NOT having a million points of articulation (25th joes I'm looking at you).

Never been a huge MOTU fan, but I ate up the Horsemen stuff from the "modern" series. Reserving judgement until I see more of this new product.

...I'm vaguely interested in seeing if they ever get around to making a general release She-Ra figure.

    He-Man Anniversary Line

Heard Mattel is doing a He-Man/MOTU anniversary line in 2009/2010.

Anyone else hear this or have any info?

I really wanted to buy into the 2003 line and loved the look of the figures. Unfortunantly the distribution sucked balls and the figures were as stiff as the 80 versions. These look to have better articulation, but I don't really like the look...

If the figures kick ass, the price point aint too high, and the distribution of figures are good, I'm all over this.

Yeah, I got to agree - case ratio really killed the line! The collectors in my country were all over this line but 1,000,000 "disco-cyber-attack-whatever" He-man vs 1 Beast-man ratio made collecting extremely difficult for this line.

I guess I'm lucky. I have all of the 2003 line, including the stactions, excluding exclusives. I painted my own Fakor.

I did have to hunt every day for the figures back in the day...pain in the ASS!

As far as this new line goes, if the 4H are designing, all will be awesome!

According to he-man.org, this has been addressed by Mattel during the NY convention panel. There will be equal number of shipments of figures.

What's ironic is this fall will have TF Universe (Classics 2.0) versus He-man MOTU Classics. Both lines will be using officially or unofficially the 'classics' name!

That's like having Pepsi Zero or Coke Free!

I saw people at BotCon selling the MOTU figures from 2003, but the case ratios killed it for me too. I was lucky enough to snag a few rare figures, but the stores around here stopped selling it when they had nothing but Skeletors and He-mans for sale.

I don't have a She-Ra POP figure, so I want one of those first! Then a traditional (NOT 2003) Sorceress is next on my want list. How about a Hordak versus King Hiss set?
