I remember reading the awesome storyline for a new movie. Is that what this is, or is this something different?

Haters be damned, MOTU is awesome unintentional hilarity and the only fantasy franchise that I find even remotely entertaining.

I was a big fan as a kid in the 80's loved the recent CN series. Have a lot of the figures and greyskull. This however doesn't sound right. It sounds like they have a bad writer and a backwards concept. I could be wrong though.

i would take a new, faithful motu movie, even in the form of gay porn. by the power of grayskull.

    Dear Hollywood,

Please just He-Man die already. You'll never get it right, so just leave it the fuck alone.

    Sincerely,

    No. Just...no.

Oh damn. I got a mental picture. You bastid.

    *reads article*

Isn't that bassackwards? Wasn't He-Man technological, and Skeletor the magic guy? Hell, even the Lundgren movie worked that way. (Which I have on DVD. Sure it's terrible cheese, but I friggin' enjoy it.)

I mean, sure, there was the Sorceress and Orko, but He-Man had mostly tanks, and other technological marvels. (at least in the toyline.)

I dunno. It could work, but I'm not seeing how at the moment. Weird.

OK, I read the Variety article, and one thing jumped out at me.

Mattel want to make a Hot Wheels movie? How is that even going to work?

Bollywood's at it again! You can sugar coat a turd all you want, people! But it's always gonna have that moist, chewy center. Mmm!

That's pushing it. Highway 35, which was pretty good IMO, and its partial sequel Acceleracers, which only got good towards the end, are as close to movies as Hot Wheels should get.
