Awesome! For some reason, I thought that in the scene with the car and the motercycle fembots, the car was Sideswipe, but here you can see that Chromia is shooting at him. And then I saw a transformed shot of him and he was Sideways. Gosh, I am too dyslexic to have two characters with practically the same name and inhumanely similar vehicle modes!!!

Well, I remain unconvinced. The shoulders are clearly higher on the frame of the robot than on any CGI model we have seen of Starscream from this or Movie 1. The arms should attach on a vertical line just below the base of the neck - just look at the CGI model attached. There is just no way to dispute that the shoulder joints are in a completely different position. Even the wings of the plane are at a different angle. He's not "hunched over" - it's a straightaway shot. It could very well be Starscream, but the dimensions and structure of the robot in the ShoWest footage are visibly not a match to the CGI model.

 

I can totally hear Mixmaster yelling "F&%k the system!" while dropping that flag.

 

Who popped OP in the face? I couldn't tell. It was whoever he was fighting in the woods right?

 

It's definitely starscream. It's just too blurry a shot, so the wings and blending in with the shoulders, making it look like the shoulders are higher up than they really are. It's hard enough to distinguish parts on these guys in regular scenes, much less scenes where they are blurry and in the background.

 

It's a good thing that this teaser's confusing me about how the story's going to unfold. I'd rather not get the full picture. But I am saving some pics for my desktop though. Hehe.

So... it looks like the Devastator scene on the teaser seems incomplete, maybe an advanced previs with the actual vfx with a digital Devastator stand-in. Clues? He doesn't cast any shadow on the ground, or on himself. Textures seem to be inconsistent. But the composition of the shot really conveys his huge size.

It kinda looks like a big Decepticon head exploding. Possibly the excavator bot in the Super Bowl trailer. Maybe he'll be executed Bonecrusher style by Optimus.

 

Hmmm noticed Sideways hood which is colored black in here unlike the toy which is all silver. I have a feeling there's gonna be a Premium series of Sideways in the future.

 

You guys realize Ramjet is a legitimate possibility, right?

 

Is it me, or does it look like Jetfire's face was inspired by Nick Nolte?

 

In this photo, you can see the pink "Arcee" bike in the background.

Still wish we could at least get some names for these three Autobots...
