    Yep, having surgery again,
it's a little different this time. I am having a spinal cord stimulator trial done. It's where they put electronic leads into your spinal cord which leads to an external wires and box where I control the thing. It is supposed to block pain signals from the lower half of the body to the brain. Used on back problem patients not ones with uterus and ovary problems like me but we are trying everything possible to stop the pain.
I am on heavy duty apinkillers and a lot of them. Morphine, Oxycodone, etc. So we (we meaning me and my doctors) are hoping that this spinal cord stimulator will help out with the pain so I can get off the pain medication and start the hormone treatment for IVF.
If you pray please pray if you wish people luck please wish me luck. I've had it hard but I've recently had good news with getting approved for disability so I am hoping that is the start of a string of good things.
You guys all have a great day.

Good luck, I have back pain that is able to be treated by a chiropractic care. I hope the procedure you have helps your ovary/uterus pain go away.

Somebody recently started a thread essentially asking what the point of the personal problems/advice threads is and... this is it right here. To see that outpouring of support and caring from people with the same interests and knowing that you're not alone, even from people on an internet board can be really comforting. Sometimes we just need to know that we're not alone.

I wish you nothing but the best going forward. You are a very strong woman for facing so much obstacles in your life and still keeping your spirit up despite it all. I hope this will start a string of good fortunes going forward.

That's great and all but I thought you actually needed a hysterectomy or oophorectomy?

I do but I really don't want it in hopes of having one more child. If this can cut the pain I can get off the pain meds and start the IVF process in hopes of getting pregnant. Besides the cancer what "causes" it in a sense is the endometriosis. When you are pregnant you are cured from endometriosis, it's why the doctors know i would be able to carry a child to term should i become pregnant. I already had a partial opphorectomy in August of 2010 when they removed my left ovary and fallopian tube.

IO'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis and I understand. You are in my thoughts and prayers
