Sorry if this thread isnt in the correct spot you may delete it if its not. Ive been nwondering if any of you guys who must have amazing collections have ever been scared to tell your friends about your collection. If so would you mind sharing? Thank you guys very much!
When I changed schools I waited about a week before I put up my favorite Autobot symbol magnet in my locker. (It came with the Bumblebee potato head thing and it had gross red mean-looking eyes so I covered them with giant google-eyes and it looks really funny.) I got one "Oh, Isn't that Optimus Prime's face from Transformers? I love Bumblebee!" comment and I went on a robot knowledge rampage and made myself look like a total basement dweller. They still talk to me, so I guess it went okay.
Haha thats an awesome story man. Im not gonna lie i am kinda nervous about telling a lot of my friends about my collection. Thats prety sad i know
Not really, I've never cared what others would think. If they are really friends of mine, they wouldn't snicker or stuff like that. Same in your case, a real friend rather see another friend happy. If collecting transformers is what makes you happy, go for it. If they can't understand that, you need other friends then.
I'm a girl (and with the Transformers being a franchise mainly geared towards boys) when I got into TF's and the collecting busines, I never wanted to really tell anyone because I didn't know what they'd say or do. But now I don't really care anymore. I just really like Transformers.
