Have you ever bought a transformer just for a part then returned it minus the part? I thought about buying RID Bumblebee just for the extra gun for my first edition one then returning since i don't want the figure ,just wandering if people have done this before for other figures

As Kaiwera05 said, it is stealing AND screwing over someone else who buys the toy.

No I haven't. Also, anytime I've returned something they make sure that everything's there, so im guessing they would do the same, so your plan probably won't work.

That's pretty much a sacrilege among TF collectors. As bad as scalping, possibly worse.

I've had to return a toy because it was missing an accessory, but I've never bought a toy just to get the accessory I want and then return said toy minus said accessory. I bought a second Animated Lockdown when the hook broke on my first, and I bought Electrostatic Soundwave for Ratbat, but the thought of returning 'em minus the wanted parts never crossed my mind. Not gonna start now either.

No. And not because of moral reasons either. I'm usually just too lazy to return stuff.

Never, because to do so could quite possibly be the most assholish thing to do without actually commiting a crime or insulting someone.

Never would, since that is pretty damn low. Just buy the second figure and either re-paint it...or give it away.

Karma's a bitch, and the negative Karma to get in return for something so petty could be even worse.
