Have you ever passed up on something that you utterly regret?

Beast Wars Optimal Optimus. There was one sitting at the Toys R Us in Waterloo well into Armada. Then it disappeared. Pity this was before I really sat down and watched Beast Wars, so I didn't realize how great it would've been to get it until it was gone.

Also RiD Optimus and Magnus, the only two original RiD molds I don't have. And all the reissues of them have been in stores I don't have access to. :(

Wish I knew TFs were still around in the '90s... Missed a bunch of great figures at a low price...

A decently priced Tigerhawk at a flea market some years ago. It was on a table at the entrance and I didn't want to blow all my cash before looking around. He was gone when I got back to the front. :stick:

Sometimes I've passed on movie-related toys and such - until I saw the movie, and suddenly wanted, along with everyone else, so something easy to find jumped to near-impossible.

Otherwise, I do kinda wish I was paying more attention to TFs in the mid-nineties, when G2 (and early BW) was really hitting a stride in toy design.

I passed on a near perfct MOSC Ravage & Rumble about 8 or 9 yrs ago for around $100 that I still kick myself over. Same thing for what I believe is Transmetal Megatron (it's a red chrome dragon) right when it came out...that was around $30.

Are you hoping to find them cheaper at Botcon?

I regret not buying Brave Maximus from the Car Robots line. It would be nice to have a complete Fort Max, but that is an unrealistic goal because of the cost.

It's non-Transformers. It's pretty gay. I've regretted it for 15 years. The Blank action-figure for the Dick Tracy movie. I only wanted it because you could remove the mask and underneath was Madonna:)  It only came out in Canada and at a comic convention in Indianapolis in 1993 I passed on one for $30. Now that I think about it...

Galaxy Shuttle(1st edition) at Botcon 1997 MISB $90.
    Hardboiled and Killer Criterion DVDs.

A girl who worked in the local bank who smiled at me every time I went in... :(

Oh, you mean TF gear? I saw a boxed JETFIRE in a junk shop window for £40 around 10 years ago - I was desperately skint so just couldn't. What a fool.

    Energon Megatron
    Energon Prime
    Energon Superion Maximus
Transmetals 2 Cheetor...damn, I thought this one was particularly ugly.

Takara reissue 00 when first released. Coulda picked it up for $150, thought 'no way am I paying that much for a twenty year old toy!', now can't find it for under $250-300. Oh well, Toys'r'us reissue will have to do.
