Father Bob is awsome. I've met Kamahl, I also met Dave Hughes, Will and Adam, and a bunch of other celebs at the Glass House afterparty after the final episode. And the Prodigy, the whole band came in to our store because their plane was delayed, we had two of the first generation ipods in stock and they thought they were awesome and bought them, wanted three but we only had the two and they were like $700 each. They also bought two pairs of Sony noise canceling headphones to go with them, their manager paid for it all. Keith showed us his amazing new phone, amazing because it had a colour LCD screen.
Father Bob is indeed awesome. Me and a friend were in Melbourne and we went to one of his church services then saw him afterward. He ended up giving us a small tour of Melbourne in his car. It was fantastic. He's exactly as you would imagine.
In my last couple years spent working with/for and touring with bands I've worked for the following: DMB, The Decemberists, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Ziggy Marley, G Love & Special Sauce, Brett Dennen, Mason Jennings, Missy Higgins, Gomez, Framing Hanley, Evan's Blue, and Army Of Me. And in the process met and worked alongside: Ryan Adams (I fanboy'd), James Brown, Willie Nelson, Ween, Wilco, Adrian Young (No Doubt), The Flaming Lips, The Used, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and countless other bands and persons I can't even remember. Including spending time on Warped Tour last year...that is a list I can't even fathom. I'm currently doing a little work for John Alagia (produces Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, and more). So...yeah.
I wrestled in front of the following Professional wrestlers: Hawk, Animal, Smash, Wayne Bloom, Mike Enos, Masa Saito and Brad Rheingans. Mr. Perfect yelled at me (and two of my friends) to respect his wife, on Halloween many years ago.
