Have you ever given away or sold some Transformers only to regret it later?

I am definitly feeling that tonight LOL. I got rid of all of my Transformers Cybertron figures. :banghead:  Now I find my self wanting to get a couple of them back. Mainly Optimus and Wing Saber. Now those are going to be hard to find I think. So again what did you regret getting rid of and did you get them back?

    Not... yet...

Wait. I take the above ^ back. I had blocked this memory from my mind. I'd bought this big box of G1 TFs about twelve years ago from a coworker. I think I paid him like... $75 for them. I got it home and was in heaven, especially with Trypticon. Then my mom had me return them and get my money back cuz it was too much money. lol But I did end up keeping Soundwave and Sludge.

Yeah bad memory, and my mom apologized to me not long ago about it after realizing their value. I just told her not to tease me anymore now about them. lol

Classics Rodimus. Sold him for like $12 before the Protector armor was announced. Ugh.

    -Air Raid
    -Manta Ray
    -Grimlock (Blue)
    -Hubcap
    -Megatron ('92)
    -Dreadwing
-Probably a bunch more cyber jets and go-bots too.

Machine Wars - had a few of 'em.

Beast Wars - Easier to list the few I DIDN'T HAVE BY YEAR, lol.

Again these are the ones I DID NOT HAVE.
    1996
    -Razorbeast
    -Wolfang
    -Under 3, lol
    -Buzzsaw
    -Onyx Primal

    '97
    -Snarl
    -K9
    -BBoom
    -Orcanoch
    -Jetstorm
    -Manterror
    -Arachnid
    -Fractyl

    '98 and '99
    -Bantor
    -Depth Charge
    -Buzzclaw
    -Injector
    -Antagony

    -Night Glider
    -Ramulus
    -Jawbreaker
    -Blackarachnia (Trans 2)
    -Tigerhawk
    -Windrazor
    -Sandstorm

That sounds like a bunch missing, but when I say I didn't have 26 of the 115 plus molds/redecos that to me is nuts!! ALMOST 100 figures that I miss to this day, but hey, I bought some of them over again.

Beast Wars 2 and Neo (all given away to someone who I found out didnt appreciate them)
    -Thrustor
    -Dirgegun
    -Max B
    -Galvatron
    -Bump
    -Bazooka (goddamn i miss him)
    -Dead end
    -Crazybolt
    -Guiledart
    -Killer Punch

Beast Machines (hated the show and most toys but, there were good ones)
-Blue Rav (miss him so much, aw crossbow bird)
    -Snarl
    -Obsidian
-7 of the dinobots, 9 if you want to get picky b/c of magmatron, would be all ten but I got a new Rapticon last year.
    - Hammerstrike

ALSO a bunch of RID were given away, and a bunch of ROTF were sold, but I dont miss them.

I don't think Optimus and Wing Saber will be hard to find. I might be inclined to part with mine, for instance. PM me if you're interested.
But back to the topic, I've sold quite a few things recently...rather than regret, I'm feeling relief. I feel more regret for items that I lost in the mists of time. I got them back in the end, though. Sometimes at great cost.

When I had my orginals, when I was young, my mom got rid of them for me when she asked me to give them to the neighbors. I really didn't want to but oh well I have them back now.

Botcon Sentinel Maximus, and Classics UM. I needed cash at the time and figured I'd be able to buy them back shortly once I got a job. It would seem that I made a mistake in that regard, as both figures' prices shot through the roof immediately after.

April 2006, I let a complete, boxed Euro Overlord go on Ebay for £120,

Needed the cash at the time, but I'm soooo gutted about it now.

And sad thing is, I've no certain idea of what happened to him! I don't even remember selling him!

When I was at college and my dad moved to a smaller house, he cleaned out my room.
Given to charity were: G1 Slag, g1 Thundercracker, a complete G1 Stunticon team, G1 Flywheels, G1 Groove and G1 Skydive, together with a lot of GI Joe stuff. Luckily I was able to rescue my complete M.A.S.K. collection, and I have since replaced the combiners.

I gave my friend's kid my RoTF Leader Prime towards the end of the RoTF toy flood thinking I'd grab a replacement for myself (they were $30 at Walmart for a while), but it was later than I thought and harder to come by than I expected. HFTD was rolling out and Leader Prices were back to $45, so I didn't want to spend that on the battle damage/hook Prime.

I just got a Buster Prime a few weeks ago to replace it.
