I gave my sister ,she's 17, movie barricade and it took her like 10 min to transform it
my daughter couldnt figure out leader class prime but she is only 13 months old. tee hee.
yes... but they are younger kids, that like the cartoon, and want the toy...
we broke alot of them when we were that age.
I bought Alternators Grimlock and nearly had that experience myself.
Back in high schoo, for 80's Day I took along my old Rodimus Prime toy. Some people couldn't figure him out for some reason.
I took the original spychanger 'Bee to school once (by request of a teacher)... Needless to say, not one person got it entirely right the first time...
I dated a girl who couldn't figure out Armada Hotshot.
My sister's BF couldn't TF Movie Leader Prime when I got him. Incidently, he could TF Leader Megs.
i pulled some of my loose bw toys out for some of my stoner friends and they pretty much couldn't transform any of them. the one they really couldn't get was flash lioconvoy, i had to be like dude look through the frosted part, you can see his head in there. and they were like "duuuude, how do i get it out?" the funny thing is when i'm stoned i can transform transformers like no ones business.
I handed a friend classics starscream, and he couldn't figure him out. This was a grown 20+ man. I'm suprised at how alot of people can't figure out even some of the simple ones. But hey, I guess in all fairness we play with these things all the time and are familiar with many of the common tricks hasbro/takara uses to get these guys to fold up. But if you need any evidence of how much trouble the average joe has transforming transformers, just look at so many promotional websites with pics of transformers on them. OUCH!
my friend ryan hes 17, he loves transformers but hadnt bought one in a year.he bought tit soundwave and couldnt transform him wihtout the directions, took him 20 minutes to do it.
I wouldn't give a TF to someone if i suspected they didn't know how to TF it. Fear of breakage and all that.
I still can't transform voyager Ironhide back to alt mode without him putting up a fight -_-
I have to say though, I'd laugh at anyone that couldn't transform movie scorponok.....
NGW, i cant transform movie Scorps....Its just too hard!!! </sarcasm>
I had given a friend a Transmetals Depthcharge and he almost snapped him in two! Then I had let him handle my BW Megatron....not a good idea....I went home with a Depthcharge and half a Megatron!
Atfirst it was Movie Rathcet it took me 20 minutes to get it right.
Alternators are, for the most part, impossible for me to transform
I bought legends BArricade during lunchbrake on june second and later handed him to a friend that's 18!
Took him almost 5 minutes to severly misstransform him
LOL! Yeah Movie Ironhide is a real tough one!
By the way, and the time of posting you had 777 posts on the 7th of July 2007 or 07/07/07 - what a coincidence huh?
Way back in 1985-86 I let one of my school mates transform Megatron with terrible results...resulting in a broken hand...since then, I have neevr let anyone transfrom my TFs until I gave them a demofirst.
Someone said it already, but you'd be surprised how folks that aren't into TFs just don't know all the little things that Hasbro/Takara does to make things transform. They're also not attuned to someones legs being backwards, or "screws shouldn't show usually", things like that.
Ask me to do something I've never done, and had no prior interest in, and I'd probably screw it up too. I can't really laugh at these people.
