I check there every now and then. a dude I worked with found a bunch at the SA a few years ago. I bought them from him for $20. 9 or 10 TF, including G1 Grimlock and Cosmos.

My best find was a MIB Motormaster (all accessories and paperwork present, MM still sealed to the inner card) at a liquidation store for $3. Also found G1 Divebomb, Playskool Gobot Strongbot, and little guys like BK TFs and Happy Meal Changeables, and one minicon.

I found movie Votager Blackout there with everything except the outside box (it even was still twisty tied to the cardboard insides) for $3! It was sitting in the houseware section though.

Cybertron Optimus Prime+Wingsaber twopack for $29.99 at a surplus store. I passed on it though. For two reasons, 1) I didn't have money on me (and wasn't about to bum $35 from my dad), and 2) the whole store smelled vaugely of urine.

its was the Lego set of 5378 Harry Potters Hogwarts Castle from The Order of the Phoenix. All lego parts were stril sealed in the bags, came with manual book and box, which wasnt in good shape. At first I wasnt certian if the set was complete so I open up a few bags to make a certian part of the castle, which bold and be hold it was 100% complete, but only thing mising were the sticker set.

Afterwards I stoped by Target to check out the TFs section and for the hell of it I checked out the Lego section to see if they still sold this set which they did and retailed for $89.99!!!! Im not gonna lie to you but I Ebayed the set and bought something else I wanted. Im not into harry potter reason I had no reason to keep it.

WRONG. Goodwill is for anybody that wants to buy what they have, the PROFITS are what benefit the poor, NOT what they are selling. Do some research if you don't believe me.

Nobody should feel guilty for buying what they have for sale; in fact, buying stuff from them should make you feel good, as you are benefiting the less fortunate.

Now, there was somebody on here a while back that got all pissed because goodwills will ebay some figs to make more money off them. I find nothing wrong with goodwills making the most they can off of something donated.

I visit goodwills from time to time, I've never found any TFs.

I always feel like I made a difference after shopping at Goodwill. A very small one, but a difference none the less.

Posted this a while back on another thread. But just two months ago I found the following two Diamond Select Prime and Megatron wall statues. I saw them at SD Comic Con for $75 a piece and at Goodwill they were selling them for $15 each, so $30 total!

The Prime statue was in housewares and the tape was unsealed, it had the cert. of authenticity and all packaging in place, only thing missing was the plastic covering the statue and styrofoam. As I was checking out, the companion Megatron statue was sitting on the checkout counter. It was minty sealed as well so I picked it up.

Goodwill is a good place to pick up used sporting goods since they’re generally way cheaper than Play it Again sports. I’ve been able to get a leather golf bag cheap and saw some o.k. golf clubs there once in a while too.

That was a hell of a deal there. Even if half the pieces were missing it still would've been a great deal.

That was me and I am still fuming!

EDIT: I am just kidding, by the way. Initially I made that thread just to tell people and there were some people who pointed out some things and I understood. The thing we got into a little argument about was a little girl trying to buy a My Little Pony and had it taken away from her at the register so they could sell it on Ebay. I just though that was rude- and arguing ensued!

Yep, but what they have is totally random. But they usually have shite-loads of boardgames.
