THEY'RE EATING HER! And then they're going to eat me...
OH MY GOD!
(Bonus points if you can figure out why that reference is particularly apt for tumblr people...)
I honestly wouldn't mind a Voyager class Scorponok and Fort Max, but knowing Hasbro's crappy track record with regards to "CHUGS" scale they'd likely give us a crummy deluxe version that's on the smaller side if anything at all.
I'd take a Deluxe Overlord if they made LSOTW legends/commander class bots.
Hmm.... even though there's 3 of those minicons that combine do you think they'd remold that into Overlord...?
......Naaaa, never mind.
Of course we have seen it. MTMTE #52, when he battled Tarn.
You know what you didn't see?
...The last posting date in this thread.
Although this necropost gives me a chance to laugh about how 2013 me would feel about a 180$ third party Overlord that I bought despite all common sense...
Sorry for that...
To drop some info that wasn't mentioned before-
Overlord wasn't exactly a Citybot in Masterforce. They (because Overlord was a married couple combined into one form, seriously) did make for quite a solid base, but it wasn't Metroplex/Trypticon size, and the robot form was 'large regular transformer' then too, the same size as Super Ginrei (/powermaster Optimus).
So this one has precedent, Overlord was always a pretty big 'con who could sizeshift into a moderately larger, but not gigantic, base.
Josh just gave you loads better but think the LSOTW appearance is shown in this article - The Transformed Man, Act 9: Last Stand of the Wreckers
Much of the jet half kibble forms a large hand held shield iir, but he doesn't often wield this in idw comics...
Be careful not to mention to 2013 you about the fairly decent official version that came out afterwards for 1/4 the price.
There's a leader class toy in Titans Return isn't there? The one that was pre-tooled into Sky Shadow
2013 me: "are you freaking crazy"
2017 me: "no just imagine how many times you've reread Last Stand of the Wreckers already. Now add four years to that. Now think about a perfectly sculpted huge toy that looks just like that comic"
2013 me: "good point you're still freaking crazy"
2017 me: *carefully pushes preorder pile out of sight*
