i havent meet any but have u meet any Voice actors or actors from the TF Franchise? if so shared ur expericnes with them and such
Gary Chalk at Slag A Con hung out outside with him for about 45 minutes or so. He was a good guy to shoot the BS with and tell some stories. Can't say anything bad about him.
Yeap, same place and time. He is a really good chap and seems to care a lot about the fans and learning about the people he is talking to. He can spin a good yarn, and make everyone around him laugh quite easily. A great first actor to meet at my first real transformers convention. I was quite taken a back at the meal after the convention when we were all in the big room you knew he was there, he has quite a presence.
ive met Dan Gilvezan and David Kaye at a couple Botcons didnt have any lengthy conversations with either but i met 'em,shook hands, got an autograph *shrug* I think a friend of mine ended up staying at the same place as David Kaye and got to hang out with him and stuff. *jealous*
Met a bunch of the Transformers voice actors (plus comic talent, Nick Roche, Simon Furman and everyone else deserve recognition too!) You ought to ask Easterling Capt. about the time he met Scott McNeil Though the story might be a bit unsuitable for sharing on the boards.
Now at the age of 14 ,out of all of the auto assemblies i have been to I have met: .Wally Wingert(R.I.D Mirage and Sideburn) .David Kaye(Megatron in beast wars/macines and unicron trilogy) .Dan Gilvezan(G1 Bumblebee) .Scott Mcneil(beast wars/machines Rattrap, Dinobot etc.) .Ian James Corlett(beast wars Cheetor) .Garry Chalk(Optimus in beast wars/machines and unicron trilogy) .Greg Berger(G1 Grimlock etc.) p.s:they were all very nice guys who you should really go to meet if you have the chance.
I wish. Someday I will meet Garry Chalk, David Kaye, Scott McNeil, Tara Strong, John DiMaggio, Tom Kenny, Bill Faggerbakke, Steven Blum, Kevin Michael Richardson, Keith Szarabakja, Johnny Yong Bosch, Clancy Brown, Nolan North and Paul Dobson. That my wishlist of Transformers voice actors to meet, though it's not only for their roles other roles mean more to me than Transformers like Johnny Yong Bosch not for WFC Bumblebee but for Lelouch Vii Britannia.
Hell yeah, I've had a personal introduction to the guy, really nice fella, but I've not gotten to one of his concerts. Jealous.
I've got a bunch of stories. By and large, they've all been really nice people, but at the end of the day, that's what they are: people like the rest of us. They've got a really interesting job, and some great things to say about the franchise and its various details, but the way some people put them on a pedestal always kind of surprised me.
While packing up at FANEXPO in Toronto my friend walked over with Scott McNeil. I'm not big into voice actors so I had no clue who he was or who he voiced. The friend that brought him over was an anime fan not TF. He was really cool, threw out a few lines in different voices. Stand up guy if you ask me. It is a shame the TF franchise lost his talent. I also knew the guys from Dreamwave and Drexhilljump. Not actors but they were important to the TF franchise at a time.
I've met Greg Berger, Mark Ryan, and Peter Cullen at BotCon. I've also met Neil Kaplan at Wizard World Anahiem.
I've had brief chats with Dan Gilvezan and Scott McNeil at Auto Assemblys over the years. Both of them absolute legends and heroes to me and they are some of the nicest guys you will ever meet and have a genuine affection for the franchise.
