I'm specifically thinking of Jetfire, Thundercracter and Optimal Op.

I read very little good about the Titanium Megs and WWI Opts in terms of paint apps and floppiness. Have the figures improved these issues at all, or are they still teh suck?

Jetfire is still kind of floppy, but alot better than the first wave. Thundercracker and Optimal Op are outstanding, and Scourge is pretty cool too. Very nice paint aps on these guys too.

I cant wait for the fallen, hopefully by then all the little flaws will be worked out. (I'm not holding my breath though.)

The second wave is completely removed from the first in terms of quality. I can pick up my Jetfire and Thundercracker without fear of them falling apart. I can't say that about Megatron.
The first wave really was a false start. This wave is light years ahead of it. Tight ratchet joints are the order of the day with those two. Jetfire's wings come off a little easily, but they aren't as bad as Megatron's arms.

Absolutely. They learned their lessons from the mistakes with the first wave. Jetfire has some issues with a floppy backpack, but otherwise all four figures from Waves 2 and 3 are a gigantic leap in quality over the two Wave 1 toys. The types of joints used are better suited to their purposes, and the layout of the diecast parts is much more thought out.

And don't forget that Hasbro are (apparently) re-releasing WW Prime next year with better/tighter joints. Rumor is that it'll be 2-packed with the new WW Megatron, but I guess we'll see when it actually happens.

I only have Titanium Megatron. I was very disappointed with this one. Floppy connector joints that come apart with the very slightest pressure. Megatron has fell apart and exploded on the floor more than once. He can barely even stand on the base. In addition the heavy weight of the diecast actually makes everything worse in this case. Articulation is also very poor. I'm hoping Optimus Prime might be better.

I wasn't impressed with WWI Prime or Megatron...for the same QC/joint design reasons posted above.

I like the way Jetfire and 'Cracker look, but I have yet to take them out of their boxes.

I've seen Scourge and Op Op in stores a couple times, but have passed on them. I just don't care for Scourge's shellformer design or bot body, and I just don't find Op Op very interesting.

Still looking forward to Rodimus, though...is he still on the agenda??

I'd say that OpOp is what all of the Titanium TFs should strive for. He's got just the right amount of diecast in all the proper places.

I havent opened any of mine yet, I am overall disappointed with the paint on all of them, and I was careful when I picked them, but even the best that I've seen wasnt that great. I love the line, but I'm afraid of the quality.

I agree. I might still pick him up ONLY if they release a Titanium Cyclonus to go with him, otherwise he's kind of useless on his own and doesn't fit with the other Cons who are War Within. But since they're releasing Rodimus Prime & Ultra Magnus, there very well could be more TFTM/Season 3 characters to come. If they release Kup & Blurr, I'll probably attempt to make a set out of them.

Yeah, agreed with you on this totally. But I must admit that the QC on them has improved.

Based on early reports concerning Rodimus, the line has improved a lot.

I sure hope so. I could easily pass up Prime and Megs and grudgingly Jetfire, but there's no way I can do without Fire Convoy.
I'd still wait until I hear some feedback, but it's just to prepare myself.
