Ok, here's the situation: Last summer my wife's mother gave me a bunch of G1 figures that she had left over from my wife's brother's childhood. Included were all five predacons, optimus, soundwave, skywarp, red alert, grimlock, and sludge - all in good to very good condition. She also had some leftover accessories from some of these figures and some from devastator, etc.

Anyway, apparently she was cleaning out her basement and came across a box of G.I. Joes (which my wife's brother loved and he had A LOT!)...

Anyway, I went through the box and was able to pick out these transformer accessories:

Not a bad haul...but wait, there's more (not transformers):

    and last, but not least:

For the last two, I know nothing about the going rate of vintage voltrons or vintage MOSC G. I. Joes, but figure they are a good find.

There are also a ton of loose G.I. Joes, not sure what the market is, but I have a ton of backpacks helmets, guns, various bombs and missles, etc. She also has a big box filled with the larger vehicles (including skystriker which I only recognized because I had read about the starscream repaint!)...anyway, does anyone know if it's worth going through them and finding helmets for figures, etc.?

    Ebay:
nice find, how many of the g1s are complete now?

gi joes are a pain in the ass to sort out and there are no where near as many buyers for them as tf on ebay, but they will sell if that's what you're going to do with them

He is minty fresh, but there is half of a price tag still attached (I didn't want to mess with it), and I'm not sure how the afa deals with that...

Anyone know anything about the diecast voltron figure?

All I know about the Voltron is not to eat paint chips off of it.

    Good score!

I don't think it will make a diff. Looks like it could be a solid 85?

Don't let that one go in a hurry.

The problem is G. I. Joe's hold very little sentimental value to me (long story short - my dad was military, and I think he felt that G.I. Joe glamorized things that it shouldn't...so, I ended up with Transformers instead)...

Anyway, if this was a MOSC TF, you'd have to pry it out of my cold, dead hand...but as is, I'll probably look to sell/trade for TFs (and maybe think about AFAing it, but it looks like it doesn't add a whole lot of value to Joe's)...

Thanks for the input though, I'm still new to a lot of this stuff.
