I cant say Im a Hater, Im about 50/50 divided on the whole film

Likes: Definately Prime kickin' ass in the forrest battle scene, Ravage/Soundwave, Megs and Starscream acting like Megs and Starscream, Bumblebee finally being more of a badass (although it ended the awesome Ravage, but what a way to go!) Sideswipe was a great new addition. The whole Tomb of the primes thing was a good idea. Jetfire combo was cool. Seeing Devastator combine was great. Prime getting killed was a great idea, a bit too much emphasis on it, but good idea.

Dislikes: Skids, Mudflap, and Wheelie. Devs being more of a joke than a real threat, constructicon confusion, Obvoious errors (5 decepticons go down, 5 come up, but the military says 6!) Decepticons raining from the sky (AWESOME) the fact that more than half of them are megs clones (or at least look enough like him to be confused for him) not so awesome. Length was a definate issue as well, the final battle seemed to go on forever, could have been great but it was all about explosions and running and not really about much else. (sure there was the whole get to prime thing, but really it could have been shorter and so much better.) Speaking of which, no one even attempts to take on the fallen, they all just say 'Hey prime has to do it or we are screwed' and thats it.

Ok so maybe I did like a lot less than I didn't like.. I still like the movie, just wish a lot of things were thought out a bit more or done differently.

The forest fight could have been good if the characters didn't move around like 80 lb. lithe ballerinas and instead moved as if they were 40 ton robots. If not for that huge distraction and the minor distractions of the slow mo shots it could have been watchable, yeah.

I always assumed a "Hater" of a certain movie were the persons who nitpicked on the things that really didn't take away from the overall film itself (IMHO). Basically, in the case of ROTF, all the numerous complaint threads I read about the Twins, The Sex Jokes, Judy Witwicky wigging out after eating the Brownies, Optimus Prime being "Blodthirsty", or "Devastators Balls", Humans, The Miltary (everyone likes to refer to as "Porn" [Facepalm]), and as per usual, the Orci/Alex, and Michael Bay dynamic as they were main topic of Complaint. All these things confused the bloody hell out of me after seeing the film, but, hey, that's just me and I don't speak for everyone else.

Edit: i think that I took your post wrong the first time I read it, sorry.

    oh, and things i enjoyed.
    The Opening.
Prime's characterization (with the exception of his executioning the Constructicon and his battle one-liners).
The Allspark in Sam's head making him crazy (even though that plotline was pretty much abandoned halfway through the film).
    The forest battle, of course.
    The Megatron and Starscream dynamic.
    Most of Egypt.
    The Tomb of the Primes.
    The design of the Fallen.
    Devastator and the Constructicons.
Megan Fox running in slo' mo.

No, just those aspects I think are nitpicky-ish.

I may be classified as a hater, but when you take percentages into account, I technically liked most of the movie; it's the smaller things that annoy the shit out of me enough to make me perceive the movie as a piece of crap.

    Things I did like:
-Optimus Prime's discussion with the douchebag in the hangar
    -Ironhide being offended
    -Soundwave tentacle raping the satellite
    -The Pretender
-The way Sam's eyes went apeshit whenever he had a "full blown mental meltdown"
-The Decepticon assault in Egypt (more than the forest battle)
-The emotional aspect of Sam dying
    -Sam's mom and dad
    -Pretty much everything Bumblebee did
-The designs of every Transformer, except Wheelie and Reedman - they were too stringy and messy
-Ravage using his hip guns (those shits had my eyes glued to the screen)
-The scene with the dead Primes talking to Sam
-Devastator losing his grip while climbing the pyramid
-The scene with the Harvester being built
    -etc, etc

Off topic: Did anyone else think the scenes with The Fallen in his spaghetti tub look exactly like the scenes with General Grievous inside the bridge aboard his ship Invisible Hand?

"IMHO" is where it's at. Imagine a really serious movie like Casablanca (not saying ROTF is that serious, but I'm exaggerating the example so you get what I mean). Now imagine every 5 minutes a dog comes into the scene and starts leg humping Humphrey Bogart, while saying "Penis! Penis!" with the voice of a chipmunk. Imagine this occurs every 5 minutes for 2+ hours. It has nothing to do with a plot or characters in any way, and it doesn't affect the outcome of any event in the movie. Now say someone fucking hates Casablanca because of it, are they nitpicking?

Nope, not in the least, if only because its Casablanca, a totally different medium than Transformers.

Haters of that movie wouldn't even exist because you hyperbole'd so hard it's impossible to put a movie like that in consideration.

    - The TF designs : imo, the movie aesthetic has full grown now
    - The comedy/Twins : to a limited extent
    - The quality of the CGi in a majority of scenes
    - Peter Cullen

I have no idea, but the movie would be much less boring.

Tell me about it. I'm not a hater; I love the movie and the forest fight was overall THE most awesome thing I have ever seen in a movie. Ever! If it doesn't win Best Fight Award on...MTV movie awards is it? I would be fucking pissed...off.

Hopefully it will, but then there's that Twilight fad one has to contend with, which will probably be nominated in every one of their categories for whatever reason.
