I liked the design of the Fallen, Ravage was awesome, the Pretender, and of course the forest fight scene. Thats about it.

 

This thread is destined for comedy. Probably very bitter comedy, but comedy none the less.

 

I liked Wheelie, Skids and Mudflap, I thought they were funny. Is there something wrong with me?

 

You liked the Pretender? Oh God....PRETENDERS ARE NOT TRANSFORMERS.

Bay and the writers should've known this. After all it was an unsuccesfull product line. Why did they use it? stupidness.

 

Sure they are. They transform into humans.

I liked the shot of Megans Fox's Ass when she's sitting on the motorbike.

 

yeah, anyone who didn't like that forest fight scene, regardless of whether they liked or hated the film, must have some sort of enjoyment deficiency.

 

It's not that I outright hated the movie - I was just very disappointed. So many stupid things could have been fixed so easily... still, here's my feedback on what they did right.

- Opening battle scene in Shanghai is great - Prime dropping from the plane? What an entrance!
- Robot designs are still cool - Sideswipe, Arcee bike sisters, Constructicons/Devastator are all superb.
- Forest battle scene is great as well, the highlight of the film.
- Love the choice of environments, nighttime cityscape, the forest, Egypt...
- John Turturro is loads of fun to watch, as always.
- Megatron/Starscream relationship was spot-on.
- Soundwave was surprisingly cool - his voice didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Shame he didn't really do much.

 

Wheelie for sure. Wheelie saved a lot of the film for me.
Forest fight scene was ok.
Ravage was fricking wicked.
Simmons did a LOT to redeem himself from part 1, but was almost ruined by the thong scene.

 

^ugh, I tried to block the thong scene from my memory, thanks.

 

I'm not a hater, but i'm not a lover either.


5 Best parts of the film:

The Forest Scene - Highlight of the film probably, very rarely do we get to see Prime unleash his full potential. Reiminscent of the battle of Autobot City from the 86 film where Prime just takes down any and every Decepticon he can. Even if it involves Starscream being disarmed literally...

Shanghai scene - loved see Arcee and Sideswipe in action. Personally I really loved the designs of the biker bots and wish we'd seen more of this. Also a bit more Sideways action would've been great. Overall it was a fun scene to watch.

Infiltration of Diego Garcia - showing Ravage at his best, and "Reedman"

'We'll all go together' - The scene where Rampage springs the trap on Sam, probably the best acted moment of the film with some genuine sadness in the state of affairs, and then Bumblebee taking on Rampage with a sneak attack as well as Ravage. Best scene to show the emotional bond between Sam/Bumblebee/Parents


Jetfire's re-awakening - I loved Jetfire and just how eccentric he was. It's a shame that never saw him do much in battle as what little we did see, he was an accomplished warrior.

 

Except that they are Transformers. That have organic outter shells as disguises.

I guess I fall under the hater thing since overall I wasn't very happy with the film.

Good parts yea I can name plenty of good parts because I've seen enough movies to know the movie isn't the worst film ever made.

Prime out of the back of the plane was great. It was over the top without being too over the top. The action was easy to follow in that scene and the action was very dynamic.

Prime being less naive about the humans was also a good thing about the film. Sure it was words and not action but it was good to see the wiser side of Prime. Also nice to know that while the Autobots see humans as worth saving they are no fools and they know we have a very nasty darker side to us.

Devastator combining. After all the speculation back and forth on how they were going to pull the scene off it was cool to actually see which way they went.

Since part of the plot is that the whole world is in danger going international with the film was also a very nice touch.

Back and forth between Starscream and Megatron.

Plenty of good things but none of them good enough to save me from the bad bits or the bits that did nothing for me either way.
