Let's start campaign to get Hasbro to release dedicated feet for all the original Combiners!

 

Some pics make the combined form look great to me. Most just make me worry about stability

 

Considering that it still has that upside-down Y configuration for the hips and how Grimmy's torso mode has the weight of the dino head on his chest (and taking into consideration of how weak the ratchets have been for previous CW hips), he's probably at his most stable on all fours  

 

the simmilarities is there where the back trailer become rodimus body and the car front aka hotrod is the body.. Btw its my guess maybe true maybe not

Shout out to Hasbro for finally getting the "small two guns into one big one" correct in Generations for Rodimus and Optimus. After how shitty the Onslaught/Hot Spot cannons combined, I'm really happy to see these

 

Fuck yeah. I just might have to get two Rodimi so I can have that guy as my Hot Rod on his own.

Which is kinda ironic, but then again you have to sacrifice something in a figure like this, and in this case they sacrificed rodimus, while on prime they sacrificed pax

 

Yeah, that Deluxe Hot Rod is pretty much the most accurate version of the G1 character we've gotten. It makes the Legends version basically useless at this point (The Titans Return figure can at least be used as an IDW version due to its more modern look).

 

What a time to be a Rodimus fan.
I've got the CW Legends, TR deluxe, and the Legends Targetmaster on the way. Now it's topped off with this glorious Hot Rod and the first true Rodimus Prime since Energon.

 

Honestly, Prime looks very good. Sure , there's MP10 and Classics but if you want a cheaper OP that can represent Orion Pax and Prime like me , this is an easy buy

 

That head sculpt is so much better than the Rodimus head sculpt.

The only thing I don't like about the Rodimus Prime figure are the shoulder thighs. I can't get the idea of Hot Rod doing the splits out of my mind when I see the combined form.
