I'm not seeing any interesting bits of engineering here, its like an over-sized deluxe bumblebee with a lot of intrusive lights and sounds.

Maybe that is what they're doing, but in this case it seems to be working.

Really!!? Another movie bumble bee really!!!?

Hasbro you disappoint me yet again...

I hope bumble bee gets destroyed in the next movie just so they are forced to redesign the character into a new design/form so we don’t have to see Hasbro waste more plastic on the same figure we’ve seen for the past four years.

Gee I hope Hasbro has some more exciting things to show off at Toy Fair. With so many movie Bumblebee released already it hardly seems like any exciting news that there is going be another one.

I used to joke that Bumblebee acted like Snake Eyes in the movie, but now he's starting to act like Snake Eyes on the toy shelves as well. Just how many versions of the same character do we need?

I hope that cannon arm can transform into a normal hand. (Bumblebee having two hands is the only reason that I shelled out for the NEST Battles two-pack with him and Soundwave.) Even if they make it removeable like Leader Starscream's missile launcher it would be something.

Still turned off by the huge pull ring under the cannon arm. I want to know what's going on with that.

Not this time, Bumblebee. Human Alliance is good enough for me!

Another one more expensive than a leader. Clearance only for me. Don't think I'll be disappointed.

"converting plasma cannon" Does that mean his cannon will be able to turn into a hand? I'm sick of Bumblebees with one hand.

Haha! Now there's a worse title for a series than "Prime". Imagine the uproar if that had been announced as a title!

I'm leaning that way myself. I never bought the Ultimate Bumblebee when it was released as I thought it looked ugly and was seriously overpriced. $60 is better than that thing's price, but it needs to be a little bit more special than it is for me to justify that price. That said, I quite like the look of it, but I wanted it to be Leader price.

It bloody well should mean that! Starscream has it and he's cheaper! Maybe that what the pull ring is all about. Pull it and he grows a real hand.

I think that this Bumblebee is a price point all of his own.

Hasbro is seems sometimesthink that the entire Transformer Universe consists of just Bumblebee & Optimus Prime.

They are certainly the only ones they market... I really could have done 'Without' this toy and done 'with' a decent Blackout or Bonecrusher.

I don't think so - He's just a glorified Room Alarm type toy. something they can flog to people as a Xmas gift item for little Jimmy - They at least have addressed some of the design issues inherent in Ultimate Bumblebee.

I still think Ultimate Bumblebee should have been an Optimus toy though.

I think the hand ---> cannon conversion would also be part of those "modes".

Oh well. The toy's proportions are awful but I'd still like to see a ToyFair demonstration of what exactly it does.

$60? Thought it would be about $40.

I wouldn't mind getting one more Bumblebee. This one looks interesting, and hopefully turns out good, as I thought HA Bumblebee was overrated.

I wonder if the change of modes is done by pulling on that ring-pull thingy...?

Hmm look at the difficulty for the product its is stated at 4. Looking at Leader class Prime, Jetfire and Megatron, they are all 4's. According to this package there is another notch to the level of intensity.

There's a Level 5? what TF could that be?
